"Fairfax Native Says Allen's Words Stung"
By Fredrick Kunkle Washington Post Staff Writer Friday, August 25, 2006; Page B01
S.R. Sidarth had built an impressive record of achievements for such a young man: straight-A student at one of Fairfax County's finest high schools, a tournament chess player, a quiz team captain, a sportswriter at his college newspaper, a Capitol Hill intern and an active member of the Hindu temple his parents helped establish in Maryland.
But for all his achievements, the moment that thrust him into the national spotlight this month came when Sen. George Allen (R-Va.) called him "macaca." ...

Had this been Robert Byrd (D) using another word for another race, the story would've been relegated to one paragraph in the Post's C-Section Reliable Source column. But as we're talking about a Republican, who happens to be, to the chagrin of Northern Virginia Democrats, running against a most uninspiring candidate in Jim Webb, it's time for the Democrat media machine to rev up with free attack ads in the guise of "journalism." This latest example of the Post's shameless activism is the ONLY thing the Webb campaign has going for it these days. It's offered Webb temporary traction, and a slight rise in the polls (he's still way down despite the Post's claim yesterday that Allen's re-election is in doubt), but at the end of the day, the Post's advocacy against Allen should not substitute for the substance and leadership Virginians seek in their candidates.
Perhaps Jim Webb should accept the Post's writing for what it is - an in-kind contribution to be appropriately filed in his next submission to the FEC.
Every time they appear in the Washington Post.

Come on Sharkman. You know that you are not a legitimate presidential contender unless you have been called a racist by the criminal liberal news media.
Can we use the original title please?
To prevent duplication, please do not alter the heading. Thanks.
The Washington Post is really obsessing over this.
Oh, and welcome to your first day at FreeRepublic.
You'll pardon me for not trusting you yet.
Thank you.
Welcome for Free Republic.
thats a great point.
The Post really hates George Allen. No doubt about it.
But the kid who is getting all the attention because the big, bad man called him "Macaca," whatever that means, got into one of Larry Sabato's super-duper classes at UVA by submitting an essay of only three words. And here it is: "I am Macaca."
That's pretty funny.
The media is playing this thing to the hilt.
Washington Post = Bird Cage lining
Not just the Washington Post - most NewsPapers have articles about Allen's Macaca incident since the Washington Post first published the incident. This is not going away soon and Allen helped keep it alive by apologizing three times. Once to the general public, a second time to a group at a retirement home and a third time to the Mr. Macaca himself!
What a baby! "Your calling me names has ruined my life! I'll sue!"
Welcome for=Welcome to
That's a rhetorical question, right?
Never.
That's why McInsane & Feingold specifically exempted the MSM when they wrote the Incumbent Protection Act, aka CFR.
