Metallica In Springfield!
Metallica's cameo appearance on The Simpsons will air in the season premiere on September 10, 2006 on your local FOX station. (please check local listings for channel and showtime in your area. And as always, schedules are subject to change).
James Hetfield's and Kirk Hammett's voices will appear as cameos in the new Adult Swim series, Metalocalypse! You can re-watch this episode on the Adult Swim Fix all this week until Friday.

I watched the episode and had no idea it was them. That's a great show. It would be nice if I could fully understand what the characters are saying though. William Murderface is next to indecipherable.

Yeah, I will have to remember to watch The Simpsons since I don't usually.
Metalocalypse is fantastic; Pickles is hilarious. I loved what he said at the grocery store about the lobsters:
""Okay, hold on now... So you're telling me you put these little guys in boiling water and they shriek and turn red and they die?"
"Yes, sir."
"That is the most metal thing I ever heard in my whole life!"
They are also going to release a Dethklok album. I hope it has Thunderhorse and Underwater Friends on it.
