Condi's boss went way out on a limb to support Israel in its war. Only to find that after 30 days of half hearted attempts to play war, the Deputy Prime Minister of Isreal said on FOX TV and CNN, "It is not necessary for us (Israel) to win the war. It is only necessary for us to end the war."
That is what Shimon Peres Deputy Prime Minister of Israel said on Wednesday. Exaclty 2 days after that statement Condi Rice got the best deal she could get out of the UN.
Once Olmert and Peres surrendered on FOX and CNN there was no way to get any sort of deal for Israel. What part of Israel's unilateral surrender don't you understand.
I know what would have happened had Olmert and Peres doubled crossed Clinton that way. Clingon would have called Iran and asked "How many years of peace and 10 dollar a barrel oil will you give me for Israel." Then he would have called Olmert and Perex to say... "I have some great news. I just got oil down to $10.00 a barrel."
Bush was in Minneapolis yesterday, if I wasn't working I would have been at his speech. I hear it was a good one.

It would have been ABC, which is my local station. However, I can't remember if it was on the news portion or if it was a clip on Rush's show.
I know all that but the UN is soooo anti-Semitic and corrupt and now Annan is daling and meeting with the Hezbos....TERRORISTS....like they are a COUNTRY!!! And Condi says NOTHING!!
Even when some here criticize him regarding Israel and such, I have to wonder--he's doing what's best for US. I don't think he's betrayed Israel or anything--he played the hand he was dealt by their awful PM. But I keep wondering why all these geniuses who bash him here (and obviously elsewhere) weren't telling us on 9-12 how we'd all be safe in the next 5 years, nothing to worry about, it's so easy to stop another 9-11.
The only one, believe it or not, who gets it (or did get it) was Dick Morris, who in 2004 said "If in 2001 I told you that 3 years after 9-11 we wouldn't be hit again, you'd have called me crazy." (paraphrase)
The proof's in the pudding. Complain all we like about the machinations, and the decisions made based on intel or circumstances (or allies/"allies") we don't control, we haven't been hit again. That is so casually dismissed these days.

Diplomacy and pressure are often done behind closed doors, to save face for parties, to keep one's cards close, to not inform adversaries what movements we are making, etc.
I suggest patience. You are letting the MSM stampede you into an emotional reaction, and they are doing that because they are afraid she will run for president against Hillary. And some of the Republicans (Newt especially) are criticizing her because they don't want her in the primaries.
Thins are seldom how they appear on TV.

NO one in this administration has 'sold out' Israel. In fact, Israel has never had a better friend..........EVER.
I like the squeeze bottle relish, too. I use it to jazz up cheese sandwiches (I like it on grilled cheese), and it tastes good in tuna salad as well.

Condi doesn't control the UN...seems like no one does. And what exactly is she suppose to do to annan??? Bush and COndi both have called them terrorist. Would anything less than the USA bombing them satisfy you?
