Saw two advertisting previews for it on ABC. The one which ran during This Week showed a frustrated guy saying that "this administration" is doing nothing to stop them. The one airing during our local news was much more clearly showing the Clinton Era bungling.

I am having a hard time reading this, and not believing that I somehow woke up in an alternate universe. Or perhaps this is some kind of parody. ABC producers use the facts, and allow those facts to create an honest portrayal of what lead up to 9/11?
I did feel a bit extra groggy this morning, maybe it was the lightning storm last night...

I will be glad to watch this show, if what Mr. Murty says is true. I don't want a conservative slanted piece or one that bashes Clinton. I want the facts presented as they happened as best as they can tell it in an interesting narrative. I hate white washes and hit pieces. I hate slanted political statements. Just tell the story as it happened, warts and all and let us make up our own minds. I felt that the film United 93 did just that. It wasn't particularly kind to the Bush Administration, but it wasn't a propaganda hit piece either. It gave us the facts through the point of view of the FAA and military trying to figure what was going on.
But it is disturbing that ABC hasn't advirtised this at all. This is the first I'm hearing about this. Could it be that the network was taken aback by the production's strict adherence to the facts so much so it paints their "Messiah" Clinton in such a bad light that they feel the less people who watch it, the better? They're in this thing $40 million, so they have to broadcast it, but it doesn't mean people have to watch it.
I guess we'll have to see for ourselves.

The pre-view will give CAIR time to start their whine and the Clinton team to prepare their spin.
We can anticipate plenty of both - whining and spinning - before and after this mini-series airs.

Im highly encouraged by the ad that 84 Hollywood filmmakers and celebrities took out on August 17 in the Los Angeles Times denouncing Hamas and Hezbollah
This was news to me, haven't heard a thing about this.

Could it be, that secretly people know Clinton is to blame, but would be chastised for being critical of "royalty". They know Clinton was a failure and don't want the "little wife" to continue the tradition, so this would be their way to quietly assure she isn't president.
I am sure there are people who know Clinton was wrong for America on terror but are afraid to admit it. Look what they are doing to Liebermann. Which I am sure will backfire.

Please post this often - like it or not we live in a tv culture and word of this should be spread.

Thanks for this amazing review!
Question...........why is anti-American, pro-Clinton ABC airing it?
Just the bottom line........i.e. MONEY?

''is based on the 9/11 Commission report''... means it is complete fiction.
To: ZGuy
the whole production team have done a magnificent job in presenting the complex events leading up to 9/11 with accuracy, fairness, and artistry. Wait, wait; don't tell me. The villians are the US and Israel, right?

They're on the verge of capturing Bin Laden, but they need final approval from the Clinton administration in order to go ahead. They phone Clinton, but he and his senior staff refuse to give authorization for the capture of Bin Laden, for fear of political fall-out if the mission should go wrong and civilians are harmed. Imagine GW doing something similar. We don't have to imagine the MSM coverage, do we?

The Clinton legacy ...
- the Clinton administration repeatedly bungled the capture of Osama Bin Laden
- They phone Clinton, but he and his senior staff refuse to give authorization for the capture of Bin Laden, for fear of political fall-out
- The 9/11 report details the Clintons administrations response or lack of response to Al Qaeda and how this emboldened Bin Laden to keep attacking American interests.
- honestly and fairly depict how Clinton-era inaction, political correctness, and bureaucratic inefficiency allowed the 9/11 conspiracy to metastasize.
- the Clinton administration bungled the handling of the world-wide terrorist threat.
- most of the conspiracy leading up to 9/11 was hatched during the seven years of the Clinton administration
