Excerpt -
Islamabad, 22 August (AKI)- The father of Pakistans nuclear programme, disgraced scientist Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan has been diagnosed with prostate cancer, the online site of the Pakistani GEO television network reported Tuesday. The cancer was detected during a routine medical test in early August and confirmed by a detailed examination at a hospital near Islamabad, the report said citing a government statement. "The results have unfortunately indicated adino-carcinoma (cancer) of the prostate. Further investigations are being conducted by a board of doctors," the statement said.
Khan played the key role in developing Pakistan's nuclear military capability, which culminated in successful tests in May 1998.

Well, that's one way to avoid being questioned by US authorities.

I'm sure this fellow will be responsible for a future atrocity of hundreds of thousands of deaths, if not millions. His giving out nuclear technology like candy to terrorist supporting countries was a huge setback for human civilization.

Yep, guess we know where he was hiding all the goodies on his travels. Oh Darn, I just feel soooo bad.

Maybe Jimma Carter will share his Nobel Peace Price with the guy?

He's only considered 'disgraced' by infidels. If the Islamofascists ever defeat the West, they'll name cities after him.

Too bad he didn't direct his efforts to saving lives rather than obliterating them. Who knows, maybe there would be a cure for prostate cancer today....

Someone with the last name "Khan" working with nuclear weapons.
Ghengis would've been proud. And with a first name like Abdul, Mohammed would be extra proud too.

From the article:
"Khan, considered the father of Pakistan's atomic bomb, admitted in February 2004 that he had trafficked nuclear secrets and parts to other countries, including Iran, Libya and North Korea. He was pardoned by Pakistani president Pervez Musharraf on the condition that he would cooperate with the authorities. The Pakistani government confirmed last year that Khan had supplied nuclear parts to Iran. However the nuclear scientist has not been allowed any visitors and international investigators into global nuclear proliferation have not been allowed to question him. He remains under house arrest in Islamabad under military surveillance."
Ah so.. he remains under military surveillance... so that no one can find out exactly how much damage Pakistan has done, by handing Iran and NK the bomb.
