In Phoenix there used to be a movie theatre that I loved to go to as a kid. There is a rumor that the sound during the movie Earthquake cracked the foundation.
IIRC, theaters used big sub-woofers for that film so you couild feel the vibrations. Could have been more than a rumor.
When I was little, our family went to see a movie. Can't remember the movie, only remember it was in the theater NEXT to the theater showing "Earthquake."
I hope my dad got his money back...
