I know some very good people who call themselves Muslim
Well American troops in Iraq have made tons of friends with muslim families , children etc who could care less about any Jihad etc etc so we do have a definite problem with discerning who is what

Our son served in the Army, in Iraq, right next to fellow battle-buddies who Muslim. They fought on the SAME side, for the SAME reasons. He made friends with Muslims in Iraq who touched him with their kindness. I probably should stay off these threads, because those who damn every single Muslim and paint them all with the same brush get my Christian blood boiling.

I agree. It reminds me of some of my friends who consider themselves Democrats because they and their families have always been Democrats, yet they have no idea what the party stands for. In fact, many of their own beliefs are in direct opposition to those espoused by the party leaders. They are just living their lives, totally uninformed about what is really going on in the political realm. When election time rolls around, they dutifully go vote Democrat without even knowing what they are voting for. Amazing!
