An example of what I am saying is when the disciples told Jesus that a person came doing miracles in his name and they forbid him to do so because he was not one of them. Jesus told them to let him alone to do his good works. If this person is teaching in Jesus' name and doing good works then who can condemn what God does not condemn.
The Holy Spirit never leads in contrary to His inspired Word the bible.
In several places in the New Testament (not to mention the choice of our Lord of 12 men as his Apostles) qualifications are given as to church leadership/teachers. In every place, for general church leadership (over men and women) it is very clear that these were to be men, period. Older women are instructed to teach younger women--but leaders and teachers of the whole church are to be men.
I don't care how good a teacher any particular woman is, or how "led by the Holy Spirit" they are, or how many they "win to the faith" by definition if they try to teach and have authority over men, they are sinning against God's written word, and God's clearly written plan of church leadership.
If Pentacostals and others want to violate scriptural teaching on this, that is their business, it is a free country--but please, do not try to claim the Holy Spirit led you in this.
