Rasmussen just had a poll out that said Allen was losing ground too. ALLEN 49% WEBB 45%.

An August poll is "ominous"? Exaggerate much?

Just what kind of keen voter acumen is necessary to CHANGE one's vote FROM a candidate because he/she uttered the word 'Macaca'?
I despise polls because of idiocy like this that tends to portray VOTERS as reactionary imbeciles!!
Ahhh...oh never mind!!

Senator George Allen is still a good front-runner and a good candidate.

Why doesn't Allen stand on the principles that he claims to have instead of trying to be a PC-"feel good" kind of politicians who "reaches out" to people who won't vote for him? I believe that the failed gubernatorial candidate last year in VA, Jerry Kilgore, is Allen's latest role model.

I notice the MSM is piling on. The LA Times had an article today criticizing him. I guess they figure if they can knock him out of his run for President it will be one less challenger for Hillary.

Allen reported to have said, "I wish I'd kissed the son of a b!tch."

But have you seen the polling regarding democrats and national security? Dems just can't get out of a hole. That's ominous. Allen will bounce back, but the Dean/Lament democrats ...

Considering the "leftest" sources, I would think the poll is a big dung pile.

How many libs and Dems refer to Bush as "the Chimp?" Only now do we see that a not-at-all-clear reference to what may have been a monkey is offensive, whereas calling the President a chimp is not.
Still, the rules are that Republicans can do no wrong in the MSM, and unfortunately Allen fell into the trap of making ANY remark that could be used against him by people who are looking hard for one.
I hope he handles it well, and recovers.
Hillary's Gandhi comment - certainly not ambiguous - needs to be played over and over in every Indian community in 2008.
