TIME MAGAZINE FEATURES HILLARY
It is just beginning, folks. The mainstream media is going to sell foolish people on Hillary Clinton. She is in position to march into our White House.
TIME MAGAZINE steps up to the plate with a Hillary story to set the stage. How many people know that Hillary's top advisor, the lovely Mandy Grunwald, is the daughter of the former TIME editor-in-chief, Henry Grunwald? How many know that her husband, Matt Cooper, works for TIME?
This is incestuous and it is how the MSM is going to carry her into the White House. Wait for perky Katie Couric to lead the cheerleading for her on CBS.
Everything is coming together for Hillary. This is getting scary.
I'd rather She-Who-Wants-To-Be-Obeyed hire Brazile as a political adviser...
First, she's got to get by the moonbats of her own party......and if she gets by them, then somehow she needs a ventriloquist to get beyond the shrill sound of her own voice over the period of time to get elected.
Simply put, the woman needs a miracle the MSM can't deliver.
Ross Perot redux?
Doug....I was thinking the same thing when I saw the blatant full court press for Hillary by TIME.
Here's the TIME Poll on Hillary (FR thread).

To say this is frightening is putting it mildly. A second Clinton presidency will kill America for good.
I wouldn't worry too much. Kerry was virtually handed the White House by the MSM and still failed. SeeBS outright fabricated an AWOL story against Bush, and the NYT recycled a "missing weapons" farce against Bush for a Thursday Surprise. The only saving grace was that SeeBS had planned to run a 60 Minutes story the Sunday before the election, but the NYT (or the DNC???) decided that Thursday worked better.
Katie and the Gang can cheerlead for Hillary all they want to. Her problem is that she isn't nearly the pol her hubby was, and her hubby never even cracked 50% of the popular vote. She's toast. Time's rigged poll or not.
OOOOOOO COOOOOOTIES!
It will be like old home week for Time.
I am amazed how people underestimate her. In war, that is fatal.
DFU SONG: Mandy (Bwahahahahaha.....Matt Cooper sings to his burqa wearing wife)

MIDI - MANDY (Barry Manilow)
Last week while we were in bed
"Let's get Karl Rove," you said
We can pull it off...the press will play
What we start, I know, won't go away
Together we'd be helping Hillary
We'd set it up easily
Wilson will comply...and so will his wife
For the RNC, we'd cause so much strife
Oh, Mandy...you must put on that leather pink burqa
It's not my fault, you know
Oh, Mandy...even with Viagra, it won't work-a
If you let your face show...oh, Mandy
True believers, that we are
We'll be following her star
We'll do anything...unfair or not
She'll be fixing it, if we get caught
And so, let's try to get our stories straight
This is gonna be so great
Let's set our course...I'm so tired of losing
There's no dirty trick that we won't be using
Oh, Mandy...you must put on that leather pink burqa
It's not my fault, you know
Oh, Mandy...even with Viagra, it won't work-a
If you let your face show...oh, Mandy
All the Democrats will stand up screaming
Voters will not know that we have been scheming
Oh, Mandy...you must put on that leather pink burqa
It's not my fault, you know
Oh, Mandy...even with Viagra, it won't work-a
If you let your face show
Oh, Mandy...you must put on that leather pink burqa
It's not my fault, you know
Oh, Mandy...even with Viagra, it won't work-a
If you let...your face show
I don't remember Strobe doing that. Terry and I have met, and I did an interview with him for FR several years ago.
Well, last election the MSM let a war protestor with a less than honorable discharge from the US Navy run on a fake war record without asking any serious questions, while on the other hand they tried to pass off fake documents to ruin Bush. Prepare for even lower standards of behavior of the MSM.
Can you recall the title of the thread?
It sounds vaguely familiar. I'm pretty sure I remember that Talbott was Clinton's roommate at Oxford. And Talbott believes the nation-state will be over this century.
Its hard to believe how many major media outlets are completely in the tank for Bill and Hill - TIME, NEWSWEEK (remember, they killed the Monica story), 60 Minutes (they edited out the bad parts of the first interview so Bill could get past the adultery charges in the 1992 primary and they only aired them in 1998 after it was proved beyond positive that Billy was a whore), etc. etc. etc.

Done on Oct. 19, just before the 1992 election. Quite strategic.
How about this one? Don Hewitt saved his candidacy.

THE REVENGE OF DON HEWITT
Editorial
Date: Tue, 24 Mar 1998 01:56:27 PST
The Kennedy-Nixon presidential debates in 1960 showed the power of television as an instrument of political manipulation. Lighting, make-up, camera angles, and personal charisma all favored Kennedy. But those who had listened to the televised debate on radio favored Nixon. The TV producer who created a president that night was Don Hewitt.
Thirty-two years later another presidential candidate was in trouble after allegations by Gennifer Flowers of adultery. "They came to us because they were in big trouble in New Hampshire," Don Hewitt told a TV crew years later. "They were about to lose right there and they needed some first aid. They needed some bandaging. What they needed was a paramedic. So they came to us and we did it and that's what they wanted to do." According to columnists Germond and Whitcover, Don Hewitt told Bill Clinton just before the interview: "The last time I did something like this, Bill, it was the Kennedy-Nixon debates, and it produced a president. This will produce a president, too."
But this time, not only lighting and camera angles were used to manipulate the image. The editing and the questions provided by Clinton spinmeisters to interviewer Steve Kroft in advance, allowed Clinton to get away with an obvious lie on television. He would later admit under oath that it was a lie. As Hewitt says:
"You know it was strong medicine the way I edited it but he was a very sick candidate. He needed very strong medicine, and I'm not in the business of doctoring candidates but he got up out of a sick bed that night and walked to the nomination and as I said to Mandy, 'You know if I'd edited it your way, you know where you'd be today? You'd still be up in New Hampshire looking for the nomination.' He became the candidate that night."
While it saved the candidate, for some reason Hillary Clinton did not like the way she came across in the segment. Perhaps she was repulsed by the "obediant and forgiving housewife" image Hewitt had created. Hillary Clinton has never forgiven Hewitt, and Hewitt says he has been persona-non-grata in the White House ever since. For someone who thought he had created this President, that was quite a snub.
Well, if that is Matt Cooper in the picture beside her, he's ain't prince charming himself. They seem to be a well suited pair.
