Buchanan Declares: Third World Conquest of America

So begins a new work of warning from Pat Buchanan.

And this time Buchanan goes all the way.

STATE OF EMERGENCY: THIRD WORLD INVASION AND CONQUEST OF AMERICA hit the streets this week and it's designed to jolt readers with stats and analysis of illegal immigration gone dangerously wild.

Buchanan warns: “The children born in 2006 will witness in their lifetimes the death of the West."

One in every twelve people breaking into America has a criminal record.

By 2050, there will be 100 million Hispanics concentrated in the U.S. Southwest.

Between 10 and 20 percent of all Mexicans, Central Americans and Caribbean people have already moved to the United States.

Every month, the U.S. Border Patrol apprehends more illegal aliens breaking into our country, 150,000, than the number of troops we have in Iraq.

Buchanan slams the president: “Concerned about his legacy, George W. Bush may yet live to see his name entered into the history of his country as the president who lost the American Southwest that James K. Polk won for the United States."

In EMERGENCY, Pat Buchanan charges the Mexican regime with an Aztlan Plot, a conscious campaign to use America as a dumping ground for its poor and unemployed, both to relieve social pressure and effect a cultural re-annexation of the American Southwest. La Reconquista, the reconquest of the lands lost by Mexico in the Mexican-American War, Buchanan charges, is underway.

The Republican Party, a wholly owned subsidiary of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, is in the grip of a cult called “Economism.” It is all about money now. The GOP worships at the “Church of GDP”

• Both parties are paralyzed by guilt over American past racial sins.

• Powerful Mexican and U.S. elites seek to erase America’s borders and merge the United States and Mexico into a “North American Union.”

In his controversial final chapter, “Last Chance,” Buchanan lays out a national plan to deal with the State of Emergency, before it makes an end of America:

• An Eisenhower-type deportation program, beginning with all illegal aliens convicted of felonies and every gang member not a U.S. citizen.

• A ten-year moratorium on all legal immigration, at the level JFK favored in 1958 -- 150,000 to 250,000 a year.

• A $10-billion, 2000-mile double-line security fence between the United States and Mexico, built with no apologies to Mexico City.

And THAT is why our government had enough sense back then to put a stop to the Irish mass immigration which didn't hold a CANDLE to what you insist on defending from Latin America.

Buchanan is right about this issue. Sadly, Pat gets only half the picture. He is so completely wrong about the Middle East and the Islamist threat that I cringe every time I hear him speak about it.

Compared to today, there wasn't much of a "dole" in the late 19th or early 20th century. My (Irish) relatives immigrated at that time and basically depended on their relatives and charitable organizations (mostly Catholic) for support. The Federal Government had very little money for social programs as there was no income tax until 1912 and it was capped at a very low rate until FDR.

Today, it's very different with numerous forms of local, state and federal assistance. Also, the Irish immigrants were not having 35% - 50% illegitimate birthrates, which adds to the dole.

I'm NOT "defending" anything at all; what I AM doing is stating historical fact. OTOH, YOU aren't stating any facts at all. The flood of Irish immigrants went on for close to 100 years, before the American government did anything at all to cut down of European immigration to America.

And FYI...whilst all of you ONE BORDER types are screaming about "MEXICANS" ( when so many of those coming here through our Southern border and NOT Mexicans at all ! ), there has been a steady flow of ILLEGAL IRISH; including, I might add, criminals.

Thanks for the thoughtful review post in #109. Mr Buchanan and the reviewer are thinkers, his critics, who, as evidenced above, can barely put an English sentence together (and no more than that!), appear to be knee jerking morons. The Cassandras are never popular and supporting facts be damned. The history of the past century is proof of the idea that political leaders and their happy go lucky followers will never take seriously signs of impending storms. Who ever took seriously the bolsheviks, except for Russia's immediate and weak neighbours, and who ever took seriously the fascists? Charchill, Chamberlain, same thing, when you consider the effects! But, remember the Gay 20s? Hey, there is a new James Bond movie coming up and Britney. or is it Christina, has a new ralbum too! Party on, it's really GAY now!!

Hey folks, Buchanan nails it. Recently I had the occasion to go to JFK in NYC and it really seemed to me that I was in a Third World country. If the truth were known there's probably close to 40 m illegals here now. Who's to say in the future...an Islamist President.
