He is sooo transparent, Rod. Yesterday I heard somewhere that he is slowly backtracking on immigration too.

Going to the local Immigration dog and pony show today in SE PA.
Hi, HC.
What is that? Is it a rally, or a town hall meeting where they'll end up calling anyone who opposes illegal immigration a "nativist."

They have the same tired old guests because they are the ones that they can get to trash the Republicans,The Military,George W Bush,Dick Cheney,Condi Rice,Rummy,God and Country. They get the most reliably negative so-called Republicans,or the Doofus Republicans like Trent Lott that step on their bottom lip from the first question to them. They also get the most mean spirited, hate filled, lie spewing anti American, anti Israel,Pro Terrorist Democrats that walk the face of the Earth, with never a challenge to their worthless rhetoric by Buffalo Butt Russert or any of his Ilk.

Gregory asks McCain if he still has faith in the Prez and his national security team. McCain says yes. Gregory says why after they have made so many mistakes.

Gregory so wants us to cut and run from Iraq. You would not believe his questioning. Not enough troops...should we get out? It's a civil war...should we get out? Zalmy said in June that Maliki had to get the security situation under control in 3 to 6 months...it's not under control, should we get out?

Hagel saying he thinks the President over-stepped his authority with the "wiretapping" program, but admitted that technology has so changed since FISA went into effect, that new laws need to be written. My personal opinion of these senator's who make these kinds of statements is that they think they are the President, and that they have the authority to limit presidential powers. Of course, Hagel is running for President, and thinks he is smarter, wiser, and has a better strategy that President BUsh and his cabinet.

Vali Nasr, an Iranian-American an expert on Shiite Muslims and Iran, who is a fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations was invited for lunch by the President last week. NYTimes speculated that President was frustrated on Iraq.
No doubt Gregory would press him to say something against the President or his policies, because Tony Snow didn't budge on that subject at WH preeser.

McCain knows better than to tell him to wait until the cameras are on. Gregory doesn't take kindly to that kind of talk.
To: Laverne
Every senator always thinks that.
To: Alas Babylon!
Trifecta - McCain, Hagel and Spector! The diversity is just too much to bear.
