ALARM - More than 70 talibans killed in a confrontation in the south
KANDAHAR (Afghanistan) - More than 70 rebels talibans were killed in the night of Saturday to Sunday in a confrontation with the Afghan forces and of NATO, in the south of Afghanistan, according to a new assessment given by a local person in charge to AFP.

yes God Bless our brave men and women ever there I'd say we need up too 200,000 more troops there once that happens then we can make true attack in those hills and push those dirt bags out into the open let our planes take care of the rest this type of warfare is very tricky very tricky but i think once we push them out of the hills they'll be dead meat the key to all of us is more troops and more time remember they are an enemy who are united in common cause and that cause is Islamic rule we can not let that happen

There was something on the Canadian channel about how their guys - along with Afghan forces - were trying to negoiate with Taliban holed up in 3 or 4 villages.
Sounds like 1 down, 2 (or 3) to go.
