"Snakes on a Plane" looks like a parody of a real scary movie.

I want to see Samuel L. Jackson save the day (I'm assuming he does).

It sounds exactly like "Gremlins," only different.

I triple dog-dare them to play this movie inflight!

The commercial cracked me up, but I don't think the premise can sustain a whole movie. There seems to me to be a somewhat racist note in a movie about a black man and a planeload of snakes, however, since there's an old stereotype about black people being hysterically scared of snakes.

Even worse is the movie Fuzzy Bunnies On A Plane.

Yeah, the Gremlins had a sense of humor about them, snakes don't have a sense of humor.
Look at Hillary. LOL

there's an old stereotype about black people being hysterically scared of snakes. Are Muslims afraid of snakes?

I have never heard of that. I have a feeling that SLJ takes care of business.

Like the cruise ships on movie night...showing "Titanic" or "Poseidon Adventure."

I WILL NOT see the movie (I hate snakes) but think it would be hilarious for people to throw rubber snakes about the theatre while it's going one.
And you know somone somewhere is going to let snakes loose in a theater showing this movie.
To: MplsSteve
Me to. Such a good title. They re-edited because the test audience said they wanted more violence and cussing. Total B-movie popcorn fare. Don't worry you can go see it. It will be our dirty little secret. ;-)

"Snakes on a Plane" looks like a parody of a real scary movie. Unfortunately it is not meant to be funny, it is meant to be scary. In the end it will just be a bad movie, but it does have the making of being a cult classic.
To: Cecily
Well, Einstein, it is snakes. And they're on a plane. Said the Geiko gekko.
Very funny review.
