A U.S. law enforcement official tells CNN that the man held in the slaying of JonBenet Ramsey offered details about the condition of her body that have never been made public.

I should have included the proof of DNA evidence as well. My bad. Right now this story may as well be a colander IMO.
Mums the word. NOBODY is talking.
Hey, all I can say...being from Bama and left in 1977...is that this is kinda common...probably a hundred marriages per year in the state like this. If you've got a high-strung daughter who will not respect house rules and won't stand discipline at all....its the quickest way of fixing the problem.
Sure looks like it.
Yep. Ten years gives alot of people, alot of time to nonchalantly unload confidential information about a cold case. Many people worked on this case over the years and there's no guarantee that some of the info that was never released to the public wasn't disemminated somehow.
His ex-wife says he was with her that Christmas many hundreds of miles away. Someone (brother or ex-wife) stated that he has a deep fascination for these media-blown murders, and that he was planning on authoring a book on it; that he contacted various investigators and read many reports. He may have been able to deduce some facts not released.
But yes, it will be interesting.
Didn't I see Reuters print that pciture before?
Yep. Thailand.
Good. Law enforcement needs to occasionally show restraint just like the press. Maybe people in society are finally starting to learn their lessons about rushing to judgement.
Maybe she was giving him a little to try to get his reasons, or maybe she was testing him, or maybe she was distraught and didn't mean to.
You owe me a new keyboard! That gets Post of the Day!
Be VERY skeptical of the claim that he offered details known only to investigators. The prosecutors WANT to solve this case, and have the all-too human tendency to read too much into vague descriptions. Remember the "satanic" cult abuse cases of child care in the late 80's and early 90's? Young kids testified about gruesome details of mutilation that cops and DA's said "no child could know." Turns out the kids were repeating things they had seen in movies like Star Wars. This guy has been obsessed with the case for 10 years, and I'm sure he can throw out enough bones to perk up the eagar ears of authorities.
The Thai official that provided that information has backtracked somewhat: (found at this link)
...Lt. Gen. Suwat Tumrongsiskul of the Thai immigration police changed some details Friday of the account he had given of what Karr told investigators.
In a telephone interview Thursday with The Associated Press, Suwat quoted Karr as saying he had sexually assaulted the girl and given her drugs. He also told reporters before a news conference Thursday that Karr had claimed to have picked up JonBenet at her school.
On Friday, Suwat confirmed to the AP his account of the sexual assault. But asked Friday if Karr gave the girl drugs, Suwat said the suspect described the encounter with JonBenet Ramsey as "a blur."
"It may have been drugs, or it may have been something else because (Karr said) it was a blur, blur," Suwat said.
Suwat also said Friday that his statement about the girl being picked from school was based on a documentary he had seen and not the interrogation. ...
IIRC, some of the original detectives on this case and possibly a former cop or 2 now work for the Ramseys. They would certainly know a lot of stuff not released to the public....
It would help if Greta et al would disclose the fact that some of the experts now commenting on the case are indeed mouthpieces for John Ramsey.
the proof for me he did it is when his family can't give any evidence that he was with them on Christmas 96. So far they keep saying they have it, but how long does it take for them to find photos and the media to have them? This would have happend like yesterday. So IMO, if no photos show up, and there is no proof he was with his family at Christmas 96, than he is the guy! Waiting for the proof...
Somebody is leaking the e-mails to the press. LE? Michael Tracey?
