I am hearing more and more that Karr's wife has said she has no love lost for John, but knows he was with her at every Christmas when her kids were little. This kind of fact is one that cannot be overcomed or proven to be a lie. I'm starting to think this is not the right guy and just a real guilty liar.

That's true. Whether he did it or not, he's obsessed. There has to be a collection some where. If they find it, it ought to shed some light on a few things.
This comment he made about four other murders. I wonder if they are checking into that. The cases may be cold, but if Karr did this, he would believe himself to be under investigation. It's almost like he wants to brag, but not get caught. He could also just be delusional. If the DNA is a match though, they need to seriously look into this allegation.

If you think about it, Smith drowned her children in a remote fashionthey were peacefully sleeping when she left them. On the other hand, what they are accusing the Ramsey's of was VERY personal and intimate. It would involve a sickness on the level of a parent such as Yates who had lost touch with reality or had a history of other disorders and psychological problems. The Ramseys just don't fit that profile.
There is a profound difference in these cases. A murder such as Jon Benet's does not just happen. There is SO much more to this whether Karr was involved or not.

I'm still trying to figure out what's the truth about the source of the teddy bear in picture of JonBenet's bedroom.
In post #290, commish wrote regarding the teddy bear that,
...it was a giveaway to the contestants at the Amerikids Pegeant held on Decmeber 14, 2006 of which Jonbenet was a contestant.
Subsequently, I posted to commish that the date that he cited for the giveaway would be ten years after JonBenet's murder (not to mention four months into the future). I also requested a link to the source of the information.
I halfway suspect that "2006" was a typo that was meant to be "1996," but since there is no reply I can't tell. If the year was indeed 1996 and there is a source I'd like the see the link.

SBTC was also thought to be Saved By The Cross for some time. Patsy was a very deep Christian.

I agree. I never thought the Ramsey's had anything to do with the murder of their daughter no matter how suspicious the ransom note was. They just don't fit the type.

Patsy never personally corresponded with Karr. After Tracey contacted the police an account was set up in her name and email was rerouted to the police through that. The police had approached Patsy about meeting with this man because Karr was requesting it. She said she would, but died before it could be arranged.
Also there was documentation about the amount of this bonus in the house. If the killer was also a stalker he could have found this.

One article quoted a parent as saying that he frightened her son so badly that the boy wet his pants.

obviously he meant 1996. One would hope so, but unsourced information that nobody else is talking about (as far as I can tell) together with an obviously screwed up date leave me wondering.

you must not be reading the links I post...
here it is again...

In 1999, investigators released a photograph and asked for the public's help in identifying a small stuffed bear dressed in a Santa Claus suit. It was found in the Ramsey home, and the girl's parents didn't recognize it.
Investigators later learned the bear had been a prize in a beauty contest won by JonBenet a couple of weeks before she was killed.
That seemed to be the end of the issue.

What is now a mystery is - How did Tracey get a picture of Karr when he was a child holding a teddy bear like the one JonBenet had? - Does this picture really exist?
Kerr's paranoia about a picture he thinks Tracey has of him revolves around Kerr running into a man called Sandbar in London. Sandbar is the one that hooked Kerr up with Tracey.
you will find all the recent reports here...

It was on a thread yesterday that listed facts about her body when she was found. I've never heard anything about a pen, so if the killer did it, he might have taken it with him.
Also, it's possible she drew it herself the evening before. My kids draw on their hands all the time. I can't remember if it said it was her left, or right palm. That would tell a lot. If she was right handed, and did it herself it should be on her left palm. If she's right handed, and it was on the right palm, that would most likely rule her out.

Let's really , really think out of the box.
Although every more or less said it was the parents, I'm now of the belief that not only that they "knew" it wasn't the parents, they put out "false information" to entice Karr. He wasn't in their data base.
As long as folks were still attacking the Ramseys, it put "reasonable doubt" on his side. He could talk about it. He could write about it.
So he gave himself away. Someone fed him false information? He corrected it!! It's going to be the heart on the hand. Best Guess: It was there BEFORE the murder, not after the murder.

I strongly suggest that folks go to:
http://www.rockymountainnews.com/
and read some of the reports that are out there... last night I also found that some other person (a female) had a lot contact with Karr back in 2001 I think. I posted the links to that late last night.

I did a google search ON "Jonbenet, Pegeant, Santa bear" and found multiple references to it.
The Pageant was held on Dec 14, 1996 at the Southwest Mall in Littleton, CO. -- Patsy confirmed in an interview that JonBenet compeated in that pageant, but she did not remember her getting the bear.

What about a possible connection to this guy:
From archives: one man named in the Ramseys book, Michael Helgoth, committed suicide two months after the murder and one day after District Attorney Alex Hunter announced they were narrowing the search for JonBenets killer.
A stun gun was found near Mr. Helgoths body, as well as HI-TEC boots. Evidence in the case suggests that JonBenets killer used a stun gun on her. Unidentified shoeprints from HI-TEC boots also were found in the Ramseys basement.

The note certainly lays to rest any question of it being a random abduction and murder. I don't think it was a family member. But, who ever it was was most certainly a stalker. The note hints of "I know all about you, you know nothing about me...nanabooboo..haha." It's very taunting. I think the reason for the killer leaving the note, even though he murdered JonBenet, was that he had a compulsion to communicate with the parents and involve them in his fantasy. He, in a demented way, wanted to intimidate, and impress them by letting them know something about himself, even though what he revealed is lies. He needs them to think he's important. It's like some anonymous person getting on the internet and claiming to be a famous award winning actor. They may be lying, but it makes them feel like the big man. I think there is an element of that here
