AN American schoolteacher accused of murdering six-year-old beauty queen JonBenet Ramsey in the US in 1996 has told police in Thailand that the girl died accidentally from an overdose of chloroform he administered before raping her. A senior Thai police official said that under questioning in Bangkok, Karr said he had chloroformed the child so he could rape her in the basement of her home in Boulder, Colorado.
“He told us that after sex he realised he had accidentally killed her,” said General Suwat Tumrongsiskul, director of immigration police. “He also told us that they loved each other. She was 'his' beauty queen.”

That sketch hits on about 7 out of ten points compared to the picture. It would be interesting to see how he combed his hair in 1996, and how much less he weighed then. The biggest discrepency is the chin line, but that might be weight and age progression related. Overall, it's a chilling comparison.

The BDA investigator has been there for 3 weeks, I heard today. That person and some of the other contingency of LE people from other authorities checked into the Budget Hotel where Karr was staying in Bangkok.
He had been emailing regularly with Michael Tracey in Boulder for 4 years. Something he wrote to Tracey, right at this time when Tracey is trying to peddle another Ramsey innocence screed, "alarmed" Tracey and he notified the Boulder DA.
Keenan said this morning that they swooped in yesterday because Karr had gotten the job with the International School in Bangkok and had started teaching on Tuesday. And now Tracey gets his 4th telenovella perp to hang.

If he was living 1/2 way across a continent, when she was murdered, how did he get into the house, into a room only the family and a couple of workmen even knew existed?
He says that he drugged her and gave her alcohol, but neither of these things were found in her body.
He says that he killed her by acciden t. How is bashing in her head, choking her, and then garroting her an "accident"?

He e-mailed a professor and I wonder if they didn't trace it back somehow because of that. DOn't know what's possible, but that might be how they knew, or his family told the fuzz where he was.
My friend thinks that he's purposely lying just enough for a good lawyer to get him acquitted.

He's a PERVERT; however, I really doubt that he had anything whatsoever to do with the murder.

Chloroform can be detected readily using the Fujiwara test.
Often there will be blisters where the chloroform touched the skin, especially in a forced chloroform poisoning case.
Although acute poisoning with chloroform is rare, it is easily proved in a normal postmortem toxicology exam.
