For some reason Burke, who is an adult now, has been conspicuously absent from all of these happenings of late.
I can't remember where I read this, but Patsy could write with both hands, and the cops only took a sample of her writing with her right hand.
Correction to last post...the marks in question were on her chin. Where on her chin? Just below her mouth? On the underside of her chin? I don't know, but the info is in chapter 20 of the link in my previous post.
The marks were on her back and face. And you are correct, some have theorized that they looked like burn marks made by a stun gun. I believe it was Lou Smits who proposed the stun gun theory. I wondered if cholorform could cause the same kind of burn marks?

Now there is a woman that claims that Karr told her FIVE years ago that he murdered JonBenet and told her details when he was drunk. There is video. It's pretty long, and they cut her off, it seems, as she was going into more detail.
She said that Karr's brother worked for John Ramsey at one time. That he met JonBenet at their open house and befriended her. That he went through the unlocked door when he saw them leave for the evening. He hid under the bed in the guestroom until they were asleep and coaxed JonBenet out of her room with "your parents want to talk to you" or something. She claims that he wandered around the house and found the basement window and opened it as well. That he was a petite man and knew he could fit through.
She says she feels vindicated because she went to the police, and she claims they were not terribly interested.
The site with the video link keeps crashing, so I cannot post it. I will when I can get it.
The "hiding under the bed" part is interesting because a couple of years ago, Lou Smit showed photos from that morning with the dust ruffle on the guest room bed all askew and posited that same theory.
Of course, this could all be part of this nutter's lunatic ravings. But it is interesting. Couple that with the yearbook passage of "I Shall Be The Conqueror" in writing that looks a bit similar, and I cannot count this guy out yet. Even if he seems too loony to be the one.
We shall see.
And what if conclusive DNA evidence matches Karr's?

The dust ruffle was messed up because Patsy had been in there packing JonBenet's bag on top of JAR's bed with pageant stuff for after their trip to Charlevoix.

I haven't heard that. There isn't any date on the online file. He might have done it himself when he started this fantasy; I have no idea.
I think they should investigate Tracey... Why did Karr choose him and how? Did they already know each other?
Did you see the comparison of his hand writing to the ransom note? They showed it briefly on one of the news channels and the small "a"'s looked EXACTLY the same to my unprofessional eye.
Yes! That and the whole SBTC--Victory! thing just jumped out at me. I could never understand the Victory at the end of the ransom note. But if you couple it with (I) Shall Be The Conqueror, it is very eerie.

Forgot to add--and that writing was from a high school yearbook, so it isn't recent. Weird.
I can't watch that video online, but from the reports of others who have viewed it, all he said were things most people who followed the case avidly would know - but that woman didn't know when she heard all that.
They know Tracey well. He's on the same team with the DA in Boulder. They're all Ramsey supporters. Keenan (Lacy) even went to Patsy's funeral at her own expense.
How many other cases do you know about where the DA had a press conference, as yesterday, in which she quoted one of the main persons of interest, still under the umbrella, as an authority on the assumption of innocence? Aaacck!
