This is a big loss for the good guys. I suspect they'll do it regardless and the perp will mysteriusly die before he or she gets to the jailhouse.

And I'd love to ask that judge why Clinton's Eschelon program was legal.

There's a stay in place so we willl continue to utilize the program!!! That's good news; at least the administration is not rolling over on this issue.
The interesting thing is that the dems just in the last few days have been trying to claim the security issue as their own. It's going to be velly intellisting where they come down on this now!

It's a loss if it is not executed anymore. The AG already said they are appealing and are keeping everything as is.

?Plaintiffs (ACLU) said ruling would impact legislative debate.
Gonzales: You have to ask members of Congress. This ruling is just what Conyers (D-Mi, Ranking member, House Judicary Committee) wanted. It gives them cover to begin impeachment proceedings against the president if the Rats take over the house in the fall. Let's hope that doesn't happen.

That one is going to be good for at least 3 seats for the R's in November.
Ain't going to hurt Joe either.

Ann Beeson, the American Civil Liberties Union's associate legal director and the lead attorney for the plaintiffs challenging the government's wiretapping policy, addresses the media in Detroit, in this June 12, 2006, file photo. A federal judge ruled Thursday, Aug. 17, 2006 that the government's warrantless wiretapping program is unconstitutional and ordered an immediate halt to it. U.S. District Judge Anna Diggs Taylor in Detroit became the first judge to strike down the National Security Agency's program, which she says violates the rights to free speech and privacy. Today a District Court Judge ruled it was unlawful and we disagree with the decision and we've appealed the decision. There's a stay in place so we willl continue to utilize the program!!!It's sort of like that idiotic 9th Circus ruling that said it was unconstitutional to say the word "God" in the Pledge Of Allegiance, under the pretext of 1st Amendment violations.

Bush hatred strikes again,, don't they know
Bubba is like a 'brother' to him and his Dad. ;-)
This is a clear demonstration of how deep the Enemy Within permeates every institution of this nation and that they will stop at nothing, imo.

the timing is brilliant I'm sure you mean close to the events in London but I would have preferred a little closer to the election. We'll have to talk to Rove about his timimg. ;)
