The judge agrees with the ACLU in wanting us all dead.

My thoughts? Ok. An idiot judge is easy to find.

Wonder how much shopping the ACLU did to find this one?

Thoughts?

Does this mean the government system that tracks my every financial transaction, and compels me to testify to such details, is also unconstitutional? Bye bye IRS?

Since the judge's district is Detroit, don't do any wiretapping from Detroit. Do it from Fort Meade, where it's supposed to be done.

Or ignore the judge.

Seriously: start spending some serious resources out counterintelligence to find the traitors who are leaking this classified information, give them a fair trial, and have them shot (after conviction).

Response to a previous post about this. I thought this was pertinent.

But even if Taylor harpoons the spying program, experts said, the decision likely would be overturned by the U.S. 6th Circuit Court of Appeals. "Given the composition of the 6th Circuit and its previous rulings in related areas, it seems more likely to favor national security over civil liberties if that issue is squarely presented," said Carl Tobias, a law professor at the University of Richmond in Virginia. "And that's what this case is all about."

I've noticed in surfing, that most of the headlines say "Judge Nixes NSA Wiretaps", NOT "Judge Nixes "Warrantless NSA" Wire Taps."

Says a lot about the DBM, doesn't it? Mustn't let the sheeple get the wrong idea.

It's a hard one to call - the media makes this out to be a spy program on Americans, but the targets were overseas (which the NSA has probably been scanning for decades).

My concern about a lot of this type of stuff, is a liberal getting in the White House and expanding this or that anti-terrorist measure just a little more, to the point where they begin to listen in on calls that originate and terminate within the physical borders of the US, without warranties - i.e., you, me, and everybody else.

I don't care anymore. Let tens of thousands of us die in American cities before the inevitable move must be made.

You should have asked for "punch-lines" - as this is so farcical a half-dozen just ran through my mind.
