BANGKOK, Thailand (AP) - A former American school teacher said publicly Thursday he was with JonBenet Ramsey when she was killed and called the 6-year-old's death "an accident," a stunning admission that should help answer 10 years of questions in the unsolved murder case. Hold on... his wife said he was with her when the killing was first announced, and he was never in Boulder. He started reading everything about the murder he could find. He may be mentally unstable.... Let's see first.

That is just plain cruel.
No, he'll probably get a few months or a couple of years. Or he'll be adjudged insane and the taxpayers can feed, clothe, house and medicate him in some "hospital" for another 40 or so years till he dies. Judging from the slaps on the wrist molesters and child killers get, we don't value our children in today's society.
Seems to me alot of people here have "egg on their face" convicting the parents in their posts over the last 10 years.
Maybe he has done some very bad things in his life and has adopted this case as his own so he can be punished for all the other crimes he committed, while still giving him the fanatasy of his life to go out with...
I've seen rumors that his DNA matched what was on Jon Benet, if so, fry him.
I have thought for years that the son was the killer, and the parents were covering up for him so they wouldn't lose both children..............

He'll get life in prison and any adult male caught within 1000 feet of a school will now be put on a sex offender list.
