Guess I best post on a different thread. This is just bizarre - so many people just sure this exonerates the Ramseys.
The guy's own ex-wife in Petaluma, who has every reason in the world to stick it to him since she divorced him in 2001 over the child porn charges, said they lived in Alabama in 1996 and she spent the entire Christmas holidays with him.
Well, he lived in Petaluma and also had all the info on Polly Klaas's murder, right there in that town.

If this is the real perp, I'm glad he's finally going to receive justice. That poor little girl and her family.
And FWIW, I don't care for these little girl beauty pageants. I think they invite this sort of interest from child perverts and dolling these little girls up with makeup and provocative stage-strutting is asking for trouble.

If this pans out and clears the Ramseys of suspicions, it will be truly a good thing. What she must have suffered in the years before she died.
Parenthetically I always believed someone in the family did the crime. I never could decided who did it but I thought they were guilty, one of them.
Pity cannot begin to describe what I feel for this woman, if this man killed her daughter.

Of course...parents have the responsiblity..no - the duty to protect their children from harm.
But who says that child beauty pageants are harmful?
Whether you do or don't none of this (makeup, clothing, posing) justifies in any way the killing of a child or anyone by a pervert.

That is why she writes such good crime books...thanks, I hadn't heard that.
