I know it doesn't make a lot of sense but I have kept thinking that Israel has always known this would happen.
They can turn tot he international community (for what it's worth) and say, "we tried a ceasefire and they broke it".
Then on with the action.

So many Lebanese are streaming back home to South Lebanon that it will be difficult for Israel to "disarm" or attack Hizb'Allah
Hizb'Allah needs to hide out in the civilian population and that population is coming home to give Hizb'Allah all the cover they need

I'm convinced now that Israel only agreed to UN 1701 to prove that UN resolutions are not worth the piece of paper they're written on otherwise I would have to believe that the Israeli Government members are the dumbest people on earth.
