A study conducted by Men's Health magazine has found that Orlando, Fla., ranks No. 1 on a list of the angriest cities in the nation.
"Orlando has never been a strategic military target, and yet the folks there are furious," the magazine said.
The magazine looked at the percentage of men with high blood pressure, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and FBI rates for aggravated assaults, as well as workplace deaths from assaults and other violence.
Those numbers were compiled by the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
Traffic congestion data were also a factor.
Orlando was joined in the top 10 by three other Florida cities -- St. Petersburg, Miami and Jacksonville.

Ummmm....yeah!!! Glad you finally got the reference!
Every Thursday night the Frenchies and the Greeks would fight it out on the town square in Manchester. Sometimes the Greeks, being fewer in number, couldn't make it, so the Frenchies had to fight each other. You wanna talk Angry? As a kid, I was always in awe of that town ... wished mine was more like it.
Bangor is short on violence, but I am proud of the dear old town, nonetheless. Perhaps if more Maine towns paid attention to this category, we could end the annual invasion of the Massholes once and for all. We need the money, but I see no reason why they just couldn't mail it in and spare us their gauche presence.
Now I see plenty of towns on that list I would characterize as mean, rather than angry, but then, no one ever asks me.
Been there. I'd sooner go out to the airport and lie down on the runway than return to rural hell.
OK, but the Philly girl must still be angry about the Eagles... or something!
Too many p!ssed-off old retirees in Florida?
"Get off my grass!"
It's only the second to the happiest place on earth. Anaheim,CA, home of Disneyland, is the happiest. That second best showing is just plain p!$$ing them off.
Yeah, and it looks like Anaheim (Disneyland) ranked at #79 as well..
Perhaps it's NOT the Happiest Place on Earth after all...
No Alaska "city" on the list? I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore!! (how's that for "angry"?) heh heh
Anchorage??
Manchester NH, on the other hand, is one of the friendliest cities I've lived in.
Tennessee has two of the top ten and Mississippi with a total population of 1.8 million has a city, Jackson, that is in the top 15 (13). Must have something to do with diversity or lack thereof.
90% of Americans live in the top 100 angriest cities!
they're still angry over the 2000 election
Nop, not the tourists, it's the Puertoricans
