"If we had math books from 1988, reading books from 1988, as a parent, I would be furious," said Patty Rafailedes, a physical education teacher. Wow, I did not know English and Math has changed since 1988.

yup, reading books now are partly written in spanish, partly in ebonics, and partly l33t 5p33k. they are also no longer books, they are computer programs with a pictoral GUI.
math books are written with new math that fails to explain how intrest rates work, and counting is taught with leftist bias (if there are 1,424,632 people in a polling precinct how many dead people's votes can you pad your totals with before being caught). there are also alternative courses in drug weights, measures and values, which is linked to advanced chem (how to make and cut drugs at home).

Math and English haven't changed since 1988, just the ability to teach it has.
More Sex Education just like more money is always the answer for schools.
