But make your points, let people disagree, and come back and refute and reiterate. If you can't convert people to your position, appreciate the clarity and move on.

It's easy for all of us to just get sucked into the personality angle, but to make bets on which "group thinker" will show up next is just dumb.

Group think is what one group calls another group that disagrees. People become groups BECAUSE they agree, not agree because they are a group. Sheesh. Just. Sheesh.

I do not believe anyone or anything will ever "disarm" Hezbollah short of the IDF going village by village, town by town, and killing the scum. Then, of course, some miraculous way would have to be found to prevent the Hezis from re-arming with new recruits..... even there I doubt any "international community" or Lebanese army would be of much value, but at least they might do something if they did not have to fight open battles.....

Anything else is just a pipe dream, I say. No "international force" will do it, no matter how many plans and resolutions the UN comes up with. Certain the Hezbo-Nazis and their Syrian & Iranian masters will never do it voluntarily. The so-called "Lebanese army" cannot and will not even attempt it.

Sorry, faith in this resolution is one thing I do not have. Not that I think the USA could have pulled off anything better at this point -- once Olmert failed to implement the IDF plans for all-out destruction of the Hezi-Nazis, all we could do was try to extricate a "good spin" on the situation. But spin it is.....
