As is usual, the fighting tends to subside as the weather gets hotter, but the means the enemy is using to kill our soldiers and the places they are most active has been abstracted here to see if there is a changing pattern.

I wasn't implying that you did anything unseemly. But I question the wisdom of these press releases.

My son escaped injury on Saturday when an IED went off right next to his Stryker (damned big artillery shell went off right as his hatch was next to it). No one hurt; the Stryker came out very well (some scratches; not much else). Nothing short of miraculous. He's in Mosul, and seeing these figures is a sobering thing. Please keep him in your prayers.
