He was/is a micromanager....those types are usually failures...as in Fidel Castro....also a micromanager...also a complete failure...
Back to Carter, carter was a failure but probably would've been re-elected if it hadn't been for the American hostages in Iran. Little did Iran know...carter was actually a friend of them and if he'd been in office another 4 yrs America of today wouldn't have happened...commie carter would have seen to that.......so Iran's stupidity did America one huge favor...and Reagan was elected and the rest is history.... ;o)

I wish I could remember the name of the guy, but I saw a television interview of someone from the Carter
administration fiasco who illustrated Carter's disconnect and inability to delegate (i.e., micromanage compulsion) by telling about the time Carter left a meeting to go to the White House basement to oversee the guy there fixing the furnace.
