Why the U.S. Has Not Stemmed HIV

There is little question that, for public health experts and AIDS activists, the fact that the HIV infection rate has not changed since 1990 is an embarrassment.

The writer answers his own question: "changes in people's behavior." Why not here? Because any time anyone suggests that unprotected and promiscuous homosexual sex is not a good idea, the gays scream about homophobia and their "civil rights."

1990 population of the US = 248.7 million
2000 population of the US = 281.4 million

Hmm ~ "reducing risky behavior in gay men" ~ isn't that what they do? ~ risky behavior?

This steady infection rate suggests that every year there are 40,000 new gay guys who get hit with it ~ odds are they are a substantial portion of all the new gay guys on the gay meat markets too.

So, let's say gay guys live 100 years. Then, over a century, there'd be 4,000,000 gay guys. At the same time there'd be 250,000,000 or so non-gay guys born (if non-gay guys only lived 76 years or so). That'd mean (4/250 = .016) or a maximum of 1.6% of the male population who ended up gay.

Of course, there are many fewer gay guys than I project, so they've gotta' be down less than 1%.

(I know somebody is going to argue that 100% of gay guys don't get aids ~ but how do you know unless you use a projection method that assumes the percentage of gay guys in the population is far greater than 1%.)

This number of gay guys also pretty well conforms to the best estimates of how many pedophiles there are who prey on young boys.

No doubt that's merely coincidental.

HIV is not transmitted that easily.

Of course you might find it comforting that a few Muslim dictators and that monster Castro have tried quarantining people with HIV.....and even Castro finally realized it was a mistake and stopped the practice.
