He is leader of a party which is left wing and within that group of MPs have a mixture of pro and anti war members probably more anti than pro. If they can co-exist and when it comes to it toe the line if necessary for national security why can not the Democratic Party in the US do the same thing.

Because, snugs, here the dems are much more anti-Bush than anti-war. When Clinton was president and firing missiles and dropping bombs on civilians they didn't have a problem with it. No, it's all part of the BDS, or Bush Derangement Syndrome (shout out to Phsstpok). Joe was saying things that sounded too much like Bush. And in fact, that is what caused the moonbats to go after Lieberman.

I think the entire DemoRAT party needs to be on antidepressant Medication post haste.

The peace-any-price faction resides in a position of great power within the the Rat party. As I believe one pundit recently observed, these cretins would phone the Animal Protective League prior to taking action against a poisonous snake coiled on their child's bed. Dean etc. have raked in millions from the Moonbats and cannot afford to alienate them with common sense talk as to eliminating terrorists and terrorist states.

You are correct; Lieberman type Dim's are very uncomfortable with the direction of their party. As things improve in Iraq, and the world- as usual led by Israel- steadily sees evidence that terrorist scum like Hezbollah can be slapped around without any real threat from Iran, more and more attitudes will change. And the fact that this window is rapidly closing, as a result of the Mullets' quest for WMD, cannot be lost on the sane elements of any political party.

The Rats are going to need more than antidepressants very soon.

Kurtz's role as 'ombudsman' of the ComPost is laughable... a socialist will always side with a communist(Huffington).

You just beat me to it Chuck.

I am just about to concentrate on Roast Chicken, new potatoes and mange tout (similar to sugar snaps).

Dessert is probably more what you would have for breakfast but we tend to have around teatime or as a dessert with dinner or if feeling really decadent supper. Waffles, strawberries, blackberries, served with homemade blackberry ice cream

#337, I know it is not just my perception, but i am seeing a lot of old lefties barking at the moon lately. They seem to have a lot of Dementia going on in their collective body of has beens. I never realized that Dementia was contagious until I see so many Alter Cockers in the DBM/DNC with it. There are a few Pubbies with it also like George Will,McLaughlin,William F Buckley. With Buckley it has been real obvious for years that his brain has been pickled, and Dementia might be a step up for him. These people have stayed too long in the limelight and should have been allowed The dignity to go out with credibility instead of senility.

Like I told my daughter years ago; pets are better than kids because if they get pregnant you can sell the offspring

Give them time. Considering the fraudulent hype about Embryonic Stem Cells, they will rationalize a reason eventually to let you sell the other off spring too.

Peach, I started to send you a private last night, but got so confused what with interruptions and going back and forth trying to give credit to the posters whose research one year ago - yes, what follows is dated August 11, 2005 and your posts are #5 in one and #6 in another --- and what is really important is the information they hold!!

following is what I started to send you and the 3 links hold lots of interesting info. What I started to send you but decided to save it in my "I'm all mixed up" file

Peach.....
Who knew, back in 2002-04 that President Bush would still be blamed, in August 12, 2006, for EVERYTHING that has ever happened and will ever happen to the world.

Well, I didn't, and posts that I collected a few year ago I did not give credit to the researcher thinking " this can't go any further now that this has been exposed". Well, it did go further because the DBM (drive by media) has chosen to ignore facts and have kept live the HATE they have for Republicans and people of Faith, and President Bush in particular. I don't know how else to describe the media's reporting. So twisted. Listening to CNN I can feel their contempt for anything connected to this administration.

Anyway, I apologies for posting without credit given and permission asked for what other freepers have done. I just copied their hard work.

Who's Who on the 9/11 "Independent" Commission

http://www.scoop.co.nz/stories/HL0307/S00148.htm

"According to a 1998 Senate testimony of former CIA director James
Woolsey, powerful financier Khalid bin Mahfouz' younger sister is
married to Osama bin Laden,. (US Senate, Senate Judiciary
Committee, Federal News Service, 3 Sept. 1998, See also Wayne
Madsen, Questionable Ties, In These Times,12 Nov. 2001 )
Bin Mahfouz is suspected to have funneled millions of dollars to the Al
Qaeda network.(See Tom Flocco, Scoop.co.nz 28 Aug. 2002)
Now, "by sheer coincidence", former New Jersey governor Thomas

Kean has business ties with bin Mahfouz and Al-Amoudi.
Thomas Kean is a director (and shareholder) of Amerada Hess
Corporation , which is involved in the Hess-Delta joint venture with
Delta Oil of Saudi Arabia (owned by the bin Mahfouz and Al-Amoudi
clans)...
Now you would think that being a business partner of the brother in
law and alleged financier of "Enemy No. 1" would also be considered a
bona fide "conflict of interest", particularly when your mandate --as
part of the 9/11 Commission's work-- is to investigate "Enemy No. 1".
"(Michel Chossudovsky, New Chairman of 9/11 Commission had
business ties with Osama's Brother in Law,
Centre for Research on Globalization, December 2002 )

and one year ago to the day!!!!!!! ....... from Peach 8/11/05 in post #5 at ... guides you to

Spend five minutes reading about Snell on this thread and you'll see the fix was more than in.

Thank goodness Mehlman is finally asking the "why" question, because it is a question the Dems don't want to hear and will not answer...

Why forces everyone to look at and question...
Big Mosque money that drives many Democrat operations
Democrat contacts with Oil For Food criminals
Rocky's trip to Syria
Jamie G, Tom Kean and the 9/11 commission

Baghdad Jim (where has he been lately?) What are the Dems and a few others really hiding? What are they really afraid of?

IMO, they are in a race against time with the war in Iraq. They scared to death that the translation of the Iraqi documents will uncover one nugget that ties important people in the Democrat Party to the total graft and corruption of the Saddam regime. I don't have a timeline on it, but I think the Dems really cranked up their opposition to the war when it was learned the degree to which Saddam's government kept records. Mark my word, the first thing the Dems will do if they get the House back will be defund the translation of documents and draft legislation preventing the posting to the internet.

One of the questions that must be asked of the Dems, citing questionable relationships, is why are the Dems afraid of winning the war in Iraq.

I keep praying that we stumble on OBL before November. If that happens, the Dems will be caught with their liberal pants down.

No, the dims will simply cite it as proof that we've had him on ice since before 9/11 and only produced him for political purposes.  It's all part of the Illuminati / Skull and Bones plot to rule the world.

Bwhahahahahahaha!

I read your post on the other thread, Fishtalk. Very moving. I personally had the occasion to consider that decision at one time. Chose a different path, but I certainly can relate.

#371, I think the Libs have pictures of George Will in a brothel or maybe downloading porn from the internet, either that or dementia is slowing taking what is left of his mind. How much we miss David Brinkley is more apparent every Week. The Sissies have taken over ABC,and most of the News media. If you listed the entire Cast of News media Reporters with a Manly scale of 1-10 next to their names, you might get a 10 collectively for the entire group. I consider Bernard Goldberg an 8 all by himself..
