I'm so relieved I didn't miss it. MTP obviously airs sooner where you live than it does in TX. Mehlman's getting ready to come on next. ;-)

Thanks for the post anita.

I really don't mind the Dems getting blindsided by an enormous conservative turnout.

IMO, it's good for us that he remains "out there." We are gradually rendering him impotent and to be able to "put a face" on the anaonymous terrorist can only help.

Just finished watching Kean & Hamilton on MTP. These guys came across as 2 senile old fools who ought to be in the Home.

Brave woman, indeed! Did she survive long after this? If so, I'll bet she must watch her back every minute...I'll say a prayer for her protection.
God bless her.

Good point, but I would love to see the look on Feingold's face upon his capture.

Dean stated, on Meet the Mess, that possession of nuclear weapons is not an option for Iran. Kerry etc. have also taken this position. Now, in the context of these statements, we see the quicksand upon which the Dims' have constructed their criticisms of the Bush doctrine.

Everything that has occurred since 1979 must be viewed in light of the ultimate confrontation which the Mullahs, for reasons of religious insanity, desire. Mehlhman's listing of the terrorist's' activities through the years is always the best response to critics who cite Iraq as a distraction. When fools like Lamont make statements that our Iraq policies have destabilized the Middle East, a quick review of what has gone on since 1979 shows them for the idiots that they are.

Dean etc. always spill the Rats' beans. They have nothing to offer to anyone except those interested in the populist claptrap concerning saving the Middle Class and so on. They can't help the Middle Class any more than they can sort out the Middle East.

Yep, NBC/MSNBC is definitely trumpeting a disagreement between the Brits and US on bringing the plot down. Lisa Meyers just on again. She probably had to offer $$ to find whiny malcontents who weren't told in both agencies, here and there. Thank God for this elevated level of secrecy... may it ever be thus, til the rogue vermin are all gone.

Mehlman: If you listen to what the terrorists say, their goal is to drive America out of the ME and launch terrorist attacks from a new base.

ON MTP I heard that as "their goal is to drive America out of Iraq and use it as a base between Syria and Iran to launch attacks."

By the way, great catch on the Post article about the new find by British police.  I think this one is coming together quickly, which is good.  I'm afraid that the plane bomb plot was only one of a whole series of semi-coordinated attacks.  In my mind the sudden rash of lots of seperate ME types buying up hundreds of untraceable cell phones in this country indicates a large volume of fighters already in position but needing a secure means of communications.  And now that the NSA program is shut down in the US these cell phones are secure from eavesdropping, by law!  Couple that with the pick ups in Italy and the oft cited Ahmadinejad statement about August 22nd and I think we've got something big in the works.

The question is how much of it have we caught?  Further question, could this one have been blown intentionally to distract us from something else?

Mehlman's on fire and is slamming Dean & the Dems. I'm so glad he's getting the last word.

It was that kind of "stability" that led to 9/11, not to mention Kobar Towers, the Cole, the first WTC bombing, etc. We cannot afford that false "stability." By the way, I think I heard Robert Reich say that dems were better at policing and intelligence functions than pubbies. LOLOLOL.

I was in a 'big box' store the other day...and they were blasting a Dixie Chicks concert video. I couldn't help but notice how 'empty' their music is now; seemed 'souless'.

the very notion of this indicates that we have a pretty good idea of who the leakers are (or at least a certainty of who they're not).  That bodes ill for the "shadow government" in the intelligence community and at State.

Glad you were able to catch the segment with Mehlman. He should go on shows more often; he is a great head of the RNC and a terrific spokesman.

I've said for 2 weeks now that I think something big is in the works and it wouldn't surprise me if the jihadists don't mind that the British plot was uncovered as a means of distracting us from something else altogether being planned.

There are all too many Trak phones being collected by Arabs in this country and it happened in our town a month or so ago. Alert managers at various Dollar Stores saw the Arabs throw away the components of the phones they don't need and called the FBI who later found the van with hundreds of phones, but no word about the Arabs who had purchased the phones.

As most everyone knows, these phones are used as detonators for bombs and I think one of the groups found to have purchased 1,000 phones also had plans to bomb a bridge. I don't remember the specific details, but it's pretty clear that something is being planned.

What the left in the US seem to miss when they go on about Blair being Bush's poodle is that Blair is actually one of them.

He is leader of a party which is left wing and within that group of MPs have a mixture of pro and anti war members probably more anti than pro. If they can co-exist and when it comes to it toe the line if necessary for national security why can not the Democratic Party in the US do the same thing.

Also on the subject of MSM I heard a gaff by one of them do not remember if was CBS or FNC but whichever the reporter referred to our Home Secretary as the "Britsh Homeland Security Secretary". Do they ever check their facts we do not have such a position. The Conservative Party I believe has a opposition spokesman for Homeland Security but as such there is not a cabinet position in Labour Party.
