I'm always pretty troubled by people like Lamont who keep their eyes wide like that... sort of "runaway bride"-like.

profiling the objects and worrying about THEM rather than profiling people.

I'll second your thought...just a few posts downstream from your original.

Yes. Yes. That was it! Relief!
Russert's presentation is just so annoying. Its not just the anti-conservative stance. it is the personality and communicating style.

Lamont is opposed to the Patriot Act....becaue the government will search library lists to see what Chris Wallace' kids are reading. That is such an old saw.

Lamont expounds on how this President isn't conservative.

I always love it when extreme moonbat liberals tell me how republicans are not conservatives.

It makes me wonder how many moonbat liberals poses as conservatives on FR.

I think Lamont's statements of his "vision" for "leaving" Iraq could be used as a teaching tool for anyone who asks "what is the Dem policy on Iraq." I will look for the transcript tonight.

If they want to kill you, and they are willing to die to do it, they are very hard to stop.

This is why MAD will never work with these fascists, and God help us when they have NUKES!

You know NBC's Lisa Myers is pushing a theory that the administration is "pushing" the timing in revealing about the terrorist plot. Look for the MSM to persue this theory.

I first heard this as "breaking news" on MSNBC yesterday.  They didn't cite Myers (at least not during the part I heard) but the banner under the talking heads said that "NBC is reporting that US pressured UK to move before they wanted."  The folks talking were testing the waters, being very reasonable and portraying it as the US philosophy being "stop it now" while the UK authorities were content to sit and watch the perps.  Not long after that the Administration released the story of  Rashid Rauf, who is the brother of one of those captured.  He had been captured at the Pakistan/Afghanistan border, suggesting Al Qaeda connections.  Not long after that we interecepted a communication from Pakistan calling the suspects in the UK saying "move your attack up, attack now!"

I'd say that's a pretty affective counter argument.  Of course the DBM will ignore these inconvenient facts.

This is just part of the lefts spin on this whole thing.  There are several "usual suspects" floating the notion that there was no plot and that this whole thing is a set up by McChimpy Bushitler to try to turn the glorious victory of the anti-war crowd in Connecticut into a liability for the forces of good.  Failing that it must be a case of McChimpy getting his poodles in the UK to do his dirty work for him.

I don't care for Gregory, but he' asking legitimate questions, imho. His demeanor seems reasoned, absent Timmy's frothing.

Meanwhile, on the weekend Chrissy Mathews show, he and panelists are in an appeasement frame of mind. We're gonna' make 'em made at us...boo hoo, boohoo. Chrissy went so far as to ask "what's up with this 'islamic fascits' word the Pres. is using this week? Denial, denial, denial. All an attempt to fire up the base, don't ya' know.

Quite a few I would think. That needs to be kept in mind.

I will look for the transcript tonight.

If you find it, it would be great if you would post it, here or on its own. I always go over this thread later for things I missed or want to mull over. I think I am not alone.

Has anyone heard about McKinney's entourage's anti-semitic comments?

I would like to see the libs apply the bigotry brush equally. Lieberman, a very liberal Jew who realizes the Muslim threat to our nation, is dumped by a coalition including Jesse "Hymie Town" Jackson along with the Daily
Kos brand of Dems that hate Israel.

Al "If the Jews want to get it on, tell them to pin their yarmulkes back and come over to my house" Sharpton was also on stage.

Why is the mainstream media not screaming this all over the place...? (OK, I already know the answer).

They are just angry that Dana Priest & Lisa Myers contacts were effectively "tackled" after Gen.Hayden took over & timing of these kind of news only will be released at appropriate times rather than when leaked by the MSM.

It's the same thing with this "Iraq is a distraction to the WOT" Bull$#!t. It was not that long ago that the dis-loyal opposition was complaining that our presence in Iraq was acting as a magnet and endangering our troops.

Fox's Neil Gabler, mentioned that.

Neal was tag teaming with Jane Hall on doubting everything the western governments say (Neal: "after all, we've learned they don't tell us the truth") while apparently swallowing whole everything that issues from the mouths of terrorists, with nary a question.

Last week Jane gave us this gem:

... the images from this village in Qana, despite some people trying to stay it was staged — which was denied by all the news agencies — I mean, it — Israel has targeted — it appears to have been targeting children ...

She basically repeated that thought this week, lamenting (as best I can remember) that "some people are starting to doubt that this massacre happened, and that's wrong."  Notice that she used the word "massacre."

I'm waiting for the transcript to be posted and then I'm writing them a hot one.  Those two are simply evil.

The deer in the headlight Lamont look should scare any voter!

CNN RELIABLE SOURCES Arrianna Huffington on Reliable Sources, is appalled Lieberman is demanding a "do over", it's unprecedented, she says.

Charles Johnson of Little Green Footballs says the tone of forces against Lieberman was very nasty. he mentions the blackfaced Lieberman on Huffington's blog. She doesn't mention the blackface, Kurtz pursues it. "blog nut extremists" is what TIME magazine's Joe Klein calls bloggers, and Huffington indignantly defends her blog nuts.

Kurtz covers photo shop pictures with Huffington and Johnson, and shows them. Johnson says a reader tipped him off, says "yes Reuters editor should have known it was faked." LOL Huffington congratulates Johnson. And good for Huffington to point out Haaj is not an isolated photographer, there are others, and should be checked out, she says.

Johnson calls Reuters to task for not following through with pledge to check all 900 photos of Haj. He suspects they won't.

Kurtz says NBC is reporting USA asked Brits to move when they did on the terrorists. CNN reporter in London denies that. He says his sources deny that and say USA and Brits are working well together.
