The FBI, Homeland Security and police are investigating a suspicious purchase of cell phones at a Wal-Mart in Caro, Mich.
Three men were arrested Friday on suspicion of buying more than 1,000 cell pones, Local 4 reported.
The Nokia Tracfones cost about $20, and customers receive a phone plus 40 minutes of airtime. Also, the phones do not have to be registered to a name, the station reported. These are the same type of phones connected to terror charges against two Dearborn men arrested in Ohio, according to the station's report.

When muslim dudes started buying up phones, we didn't start ethic profiling, we simply started calling for such phones to be banned.
You see?
We aren't simply eager to protect multiculturalism --I suspect we will soon be DYING to protect multiculturalism.
What is the OBVIOUS solution?
The batteries could be useful for powering things, the innards could be useful for blowing up things. The whole phone is the most useful device.

Regarding the battery removal: Perhaps they removed the batteries to ensure none of the phones could be accidentally turned on and traced.

Your map is a good piece of work. Post it to some other sites. Send it to the Gman, Ann C., some other columnists, WorldNetDaily, CWA, etc. Put some references under it and keep it updated.

Your point is well taken. Responsibility? Please try teaching that today to all the victims.
1- They are making a profit from selling TracPhones to people here in North America. The phones won't work elsewhere. Doubtful at best.
2- They are using these phones as untraceable, throw-away phones for one single conversation. No names, no questions.
3- They are using the phones or components to detonate explosives from a safe distance. This is my wager.
Big anal probe for them!
Will continue to update.
"This might be a situation of dishonest arbitrageurs understanding that the value of the parts is greater than the cost of buying a Tracphone - sell the batteries in bulk to meth lab owners (which they can't get in bulk at Wal*Mart); the phones in bulk to organized crime and terrorists, who don't really need new batteries, just new phones (which they can't get in bulk at Wal*Mart or most places without getting on camera)'
Then why are all of the purchasers Muslim men?
If they were being sold to meth labs and organized crime, wouldn't we see young and old hustlers of all races trying to make a quick buck?
Batteries in to bombs, not really. But they have been used to make remote detonators before. Someone from anywhere in the world can simply call the phone that is being used as the detonator.
