I'm not seeing anything here that says they were trying to buy 100 of the things.

Separate incidents, different locations, starting in November 2005.

DALLAS -- A Target store employee alerted Dallas police to a recent extraordinary cellular telephone equipment purchase. A man bought $60,000 worth of hard-to-trace prepaid cell phones. The size of the purchase raised suspicions among police investigators, who turned over the case to the FBI. "Those notifications are taken seriously," former FBI agent Danny Defenbaugh said. "Anytime a business or private citizen sees that type of activity, they need to go the extra step and notify law enforcement." The large purchase caused investigators to look toward possible homeland security threats. On two occasions during October, a man of Middle Eastern...

Around 1:00am August 11th three men purchased cell phones from the Wal-Mart store on M-81 near the corner of M-24 in Caro. Wal-Mart places a limit on the number of cell phones that can be purchased at once, that number is three. The three men allegedly bought 80 by purchasing them three at time so that an alert wouldn't be triggered by the cash register. They also paid cash. An alert clerk grew suspicious and called Tuscola County central dispatch. The Caro Police Department sent a unit and stopped the rented van on M-81 just east of Caro. The suspects...

Thanks for posting the previous threads.

The part that boggles my mind is, if they have only caught a handful of these potential terrorists, look at all the ones who have slipped through the cracks up to this point.

The ones from earlier in the week were buying them in droves in SE Ohio. If they wanted to "resell" innocently to make a few bucks, as the libs would like us to think, why were they shipping the bulk of them to Dearborn? Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out these were bought with the intent of detonating either hundreds of smaller explosives, or a few big ones.

There's something dangerously wrong with this situation, and I'm glad these people are getting nailed. Hope it's not too late.
