Looking for Map of Cell Phone Purchases
self | August 11, 2006 | madison10

Posted on 08/11/2006 3:01:13 PM PDT by madison10

Has any one made a map, or done any tracking, of cities/towns the cell phones are being purchased? or of where the suspects are being picked up?

Thanks.

the case of the 2 Arab Americans in ohio has been dropped they have been let go
http://www.freep.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20060814/NEWS99/60814032

You said that there have been cases of people useing cells to make bombs that is correct but we are talking about 5-20 cell phones used for bad things in the last year.... that doesnt mean we should get rid of all the cell phones...

I would be willing to bet that there were more bad things done with gas... guns.... matches.... knifes... tnt... or anything else you can think of and no one is talking about them

we do know who we are selling these phones to... I talk to the person just about everyday and i stated that they are being sold to china and hong kong.... Has there been any reports of people from china or hong kong making bombs....

obviously there wasnt a problem with the person they were selling it to if the charges have been dropped

"They lied and said the phones were for a family construction business. "

that was their mistake to tell the police that... the reason they said that is because tracfone doesnt want its phone bought and resold because they dont make any money on the phones then

Do you know what the biggest problem in this country is... Its the media....Every time some one is arrested it is the biggest story of the day its on every news station every paper and most of the time there are no real facts given in the story ... THEY WERE GOING TO BLOW UP THIS.... THEY WERE SELLING THEM TO HERE.... THEY WERE GOING TO MAKE THIS.... THEY WERE TERRORESTS..... then 3 days later all the charges are dropped the people are freed and where is all the media then you may have one news team report it but its just not the same People will be talking about it for months to come still afraid to fly here, afraid to go over this bridge, won't talk to this middle eastern person.. never knowing the truth.... The saddest thing is these are the people that go out and vote!

One small correction, since no one else has brought it up yet. In her first post on this subject, girlangler said.....

I talked to a Nashville police department "security and threat" section Lt. today and he told me he received an alert that some ME men had tried to purchase cell phones at a Dollar Store in Memphis area.

The attempted purchase was in Memphis, not Nashville. This puts a light on what their intended target could be, especially knowing the Mackinac Bridge was one of their targets up North.

Blowing up the I-40 bridge would cause disruption in moving goods East and West.........North and South, too, come to think of it, since the Mississippi River would be blocked.
Affecting our economy is one result they hope to achieve, and this would definitely have an effect for a while.

Just my two-cents worth. :-)

This thread has given us a good look at something the LSM has chosen to ignore. At least some of us won't be caught off guard.

Large quantity of TracPhones purchased at Spearfish, South Dakota, Walmart on Aug. 3rd or 4th. Also electronically ignited hair curlers. Non-electric with butane cannisters.

LOL! Bike week in Sturgis! (Times have changed!)

"The Rally" is always a riot. Love those bikers!

Normally, anyone fits in during bike week. But not the Muzzies. We have so few around here that they really draw attention.......even among the leather thongs, black t-shirts, and tatoos.

Nonsense, IMO.

A lot of people don't have the quality of credit necessary to own and use a cellphone.

Secondly, if one's circle of influence is made up of a majority of Hispanic illegal aliens, a healthy profit could be made reselling them...like disposable cameras.

Spearfish, SD: The first week of August is Bike Week, when some 100,000 to 500,000 motorcyclists arrive at Sturgis, SD and the surrounding communities in and near the Black Hills.

It is no surprise, with the changes in rider demographics in the last 20 years that tracphone sales would surge, or that nonelectric curling iron sales would increase, either.

A lot of people still camp out in tents.

If you match location with dates, you may find other similar false positives.

Keep in mind that police officers from all over the country will moonlight their vacation at Sturgis as well, and may account for some 'early' tracphone sales as well. Phone network coverage is not as comprehensive in the region as folks from the coasts are used to.

Yep. I have been there a few times, last in '92.

Things changed in '90, imo, and it was just not as much fun as it had been. I still love the area...

Somehow I can't see someone all burkha'd up riding on the back without getting wrapped up in something. I don't think that would work so well...(8^D)

Besides, despite an easygoing and fairly diverse crowd united by the love of riding, I really think the followers of Allah might find themselves unwelcome.

Bikers tend to be an intensely patriotic lot.

........."intensely patriot lot".........

They absolutely are. A couple of years ago, Cher got "booed" off the stage at the Buffalo Chip for slamming the President and the WOT.

It was a beautiful thing.
