I'd be scoping out two other countries this very moment and check for more moving parts of this terrorist cell. One is France and one is Spain. Both are coastal countries with lots of flights to the U.S. The uncaptured remainder of the British cell could easily have jumped in a car and gone through the Chunnel to France to hop on a French plane leaving for the U.S. Spain is now under a Socialist gov't and therefore not to be trusted. How well are they policing their airports? I hope our U.S. intelligence is checking out France and Spain bigtime.
Now that we're on the road to banning all carry-ons, why can't the terrorists do a remote to cargo in the belly of the plane?
Germany (both Frankfurt and Munchen, maybe Berlin?) have direct flights to the US as well.
