The youngest of the terror suspects arrested in the raids was a heavily pregnant woman from Hackney, London.
The Asian woman was taken by police handcuffed and still wearing pyjamas from a top floor flat in Denver Road.
It has been reported today that the woman, who has not yet been named, is the wife of Muslim convert Oliver Savant. Eye witnesses described her as five foot tall with braided hair.
One witness said: "I heard a man shout and then the door was knocked through. I looked out of the window and saw a team of armed officers - wearing helmets and goggles - pour out of a black unmarked Mercedes people carrier.
"There were another two vans full of police wearing bullet-proof vests. And there were two guys who looked like intelligence agents who were controlling things."
In another raid, a young woman and her six month-old baby was taken into custoday.
It is believed that terrorists were planning to use liquid explosives to blow up the aeroplanes and as a result, airport security checks are forcing mothers to taste their bottles of baby milk before boarding
This is just so sad. I for one am deeply offended by such police brutality. I guess now they'll just have to let all these people go.
I don't know, but rumors are they shot an elephant in there as well.

Interesting angle - but.. since they are from Asia why does it bother Indians and Chinese?
People like this are causing us all to suffer, and there is nothing funny about it. They need to leave and to go back where they are appreciated. If they want to live as common savages, let them live their lives somewhere else.
My gag reflex went into motion when I first heard this. It seems these two women were going to sacrifice their babies (one still unborn), and for what? I can only conclude that they were either born with no humanity, or have lost it somehow.

Okay, imagine that there were a neo-nazi skinhead problem in... say, Japan. Buncha white supremacists running around causing problems. How annoyed would you get if the local press insisted on calling them "Western European" gangs? Y'know, instead of what they are, which is "neo-nazi skinhead" gangs, for PC reasons?

The intended scope of this planned scurrilous "attack" was far more than the September 11th attack. It wasn't just the planes they intended to inflict casualties upon; you may be sure they fully meant to set the bombs off at the most strategic times in which to do the most damage and cause the highest death toll also on the ground - killing possibly 3,000 on planes and many more than that on the ground. They not only wish to make the numbers 9 and 11 strike terror in us any time we hear them, they also wish to make every word and number reference abhorrent to us as well with numerous "martyr" attacks. How I praise and thank the Lord that they were thwarted in this plot hatched in in the pits of Hell by the servants of Satan!
