A little more virtue and less "values." A little more righteous anger and less "tolerance."

There is certainly hope for the man. Unfortunately, Anderson is still stuck on the mantra of "tolerance".
Note to Ian: When a culture is hell bent on your destruction, teaching your kids tolerance is not the answer!
Dittos on all of the Tull accolades. My favorites will always be Benefit and Songs from the Wood (the latter was one of my first albums)

Stand Up... This Was...
Used to see them regularly, though it's been a number of years. Ian was off his feet the last time. Didn't hurt the music, though lacked some of the theatrics. ELP was the "back up band".

He says it's society's and parents' duty to teach their children values, tolerance and mutual respect. Sounds like he's Living In The Past.
My first college roommate was a huge Tull fan so I got a non-stop dose of every 8-track Anderson had produced by that time.
Two quick Tull comments: 1) I once found his music in the "Country/Western" section of a record store. Guess they'd never actually heard his material. 2) I heard Anderson doing a radio PSA a few years ago for some Baby Boomer health condition. It dawned on me that the same folks who sold us "sex, drugs and rock & roll" in our youth are now trying to lecture us on avoiding whatever maladies their overindulgences had contributed to. I found that pathetic.

I never would have imagined we'd have a bunch of Tull fans here.Another one over here. Met Ian and the boys once in the parking lot of a Holiday Inn in outside of DC.
