The Israel Defense Forces confirmed on Friday that the government has given the green light for army to widen its operations in southern Lebanon and to capture the territory south of the Litani River, officers confirm.

Remember when the reserves said they wouldn't report for duty if Olmert continued his wacky plans to pull out of the West Bank???

That needs to happen again if Olmert so much as HINTS that he is going to stop them again...a massive walkout...all of the troops just lay down weapons and start walking home.

His entire report was just silly. He cites polls that the Israeli people agree with the war and then turns it around to say they disagree. He admits to NO military experience or war reporting, then says Israel doesn't have near enough troops and tanks to do anything. He seems to be saying that because Olmerts poll numbers are down, he is going ahead with the offensive then says, of course he doesn't think Olmert would do any such thing.....I need more coffee.
