not neccesarily, tanks have been becoming liabilities for 20 years now, why do you think rummy is always talking about a lighter fighting force. Been reading proceedings all my life. The march to bahgdad was textbook manuveur warfare spelled out in the 80s. The Israelis are meeting a rather modern force. If they employ 1967 tactics they will suffer. Been saying this since day one, this is not a chalkboard with arrows war...its about killing. Killing up close and personal. Our Forces did this in Falluja, door to door, close range..its down and dirty..maybe thats why Olmert lost his nerve

Wonder how significant bunkers supposedly as much as 30 to 40 meters down? To protect centrifuges I could understand, but any group of people would seem to be vulnerable to having someone keep them down there. Gophers often have several entrances, but wouldn't there be signs, heat?

There has got to be a downside to Hez's strategy...I can think of one obvious fault...they can be bypassed...if the Israelis were going to take the country.., cut a path through and head north,,,.but the Hez are assuming thats not their goal...assuming its to create a buffer and there they are IN the buffer.....the real thing to do is pre-emptively hit tehran and damascus...but theu are afraid to do that because of the real missle threat based in Syria...How about this for non PC alternative....introduce gas into the bunker system...asphyxiate them...thats how grounghogs are done
