Ok, maybe this is a vanity. But so be it.
Today, it was announnced that a majopr terrorist plot was averted. One that would inviolve the downing of multiple airliners en route to the USA from the UK. Once again (big surprise) it appears that it was islamofascists that had put the plot together. Well, I for one am VERY thankful for the capture of these terrorists, and understand the need for the increased security measures being put in place at transportation centers around the country. I am proud of my president and those responsible for foiling this plot.
But it does not appear that all feel this way.
About 2:00 this afternoon, I heard my bosses wife speaking loudly on the phone. It did not take long to figure what she was talking about (it was something like this):
"Yeah, I saw him on tv. This is all his fault!! He lied. he's a liar!! I mean, have you ever paid attantion to him? he cant even speak in a complete sentence, without saying..uh..um..uh... The man isn't very smart. I mean, he doesn't show much class!!....Well, what about the Iraq mess? Would you want your son to go over and fight in a senseless war where thousands of our kids are being killed or maimed for no reason??"
And so on..and so on........
Sigh.
I just wonder: WHAT will it take, for the "unwashed masses" to wake up in this land of ours?? How much longer will they continue to believe the lies that the drive-by media spout, such as Bush is the cause of all of the terorism in the world, and that 9-11 was engineered by him and is cohorts for "big oil"??
How much longer will they continue to believe that "the way to defeat terrorists is to all get together for a big hug, sing chants to gaia(or whoever) and sign friendship cards together??
How long will it be before they realize that the "illegal wiretapings" and such is actually working, to intercept plots like this??
There WILL come a time, (hopefully sooner than later) where the vast majority of Americans will say"enough is enough!!" NO MORE" trying to understand the " motivations or feelings of terrorists" No more worrying about "terrorists rights" . Instead it is TIME TO KICK SOME A$$ and take some names!! If you are a terrorist, you WILL be dealt with harshly and QUICKLY!! If you try to enter this country illegally, you will BE STOPPED!! If you attack us or Israel, you WILL be CRUSHED!! and if you dont like the way we do this in America then get the #### OUT!!
It WILL come to that!! The only question is WHEN??
Will it be after a mushroom could rises over a major city?? Or after a major chemical or bio attack on a subway?? Or after an attack on the power grid??
Hopefully, it will be BEFORE those things!!

(Anyone who thinks they can correct all misspelling on the internet is clearly delusional).

I'm sure you noticed the little primary we had in Connecticut on Tuesday? 146,061 'RATs with the same misguided opinions that your boss' wife has voted for far left moonbat Ned Lamont.
When WILL they wake up? Good question...
After the vicious and ruthless extermination of islam and its adherents. Starting with the males of 12-40 years.

As a very liberal co-worker and I were discussing this today and I told him he reads the wrong news outlets, he informed me he "reads what I want and believes what I want." All I could reply was, "it shows."
Unbelievable that a man nearing his 60s can be so braindead.
Who knows? Most likely WHEN it is TOO LATE.
As long as our nation has people who believe there was NO TERRORISM until BUSH took office or until people stop complaining about long lines at airports ON THE VERY DAY that 3000 lives were SAVED, or when the 35% who DON'T KNOW WHAT YEAR 911 took place or when the 20% who don't know the DATE when 911 took place, maybe when all those people WAKE UP and join the rest of us, then we as a NATION will say "ENOUGH".

That's what I thought after 9/11. The whole thing was televised. It was riviting and heart-wrenching. The country was angry. You do not see that now, for the most part. I think I saw somewhere that 30% of Americans cannot tell you in what YEAR 9/11 occurred.
America awakens, and then goes to sleep again. I believe our law enforcement, intelligence and military continue to be vigilant, thankfully, and that they have thwarted many more attacks than we will ever hear about (or SHOULD hear about, IMO).
