What is so crazy here is that they forget that Tony Blair is a left wing politician and has far more links through his party with the Democrats than the Republicans.

I am sure there will be many within the Labour Party who will be supporting many of the Democrat Senators and Congressmen in their election this autumn.

Now, from my perspective as a conservative, it's GOOD for us Republicans that Lamont won because it shows how goofed up and far out and divided the RATS are. So how in the world would THAT make the President want to cook up such a fiendish scheme.
