Mr. Bloomberg, who is now publicly in the midst of weighing his own bid for the highest office in the land

If Bloomberg thinks that he has a snowball's chance in hell of becoming president he is an even bigger idiot than I thought.

Lieberman-Bloomberg for Pres.

The drive-by-media wet dream.

In a day full of chilling news, the thought of "President Bloomberg" ranks right up there.

Mr. Bloomberg's support for Mr. Lieberman's campaign could potentially help his chances if the mayor decides to run for president as a third-party candidate in 2008.

LOL.

Osama bin Laden has a better chance of being elected president of the United States than this ugly little leftist troll.

Guys, Bloomberg is going to pull the old Ross Perot trick here to take votes away from the real Republican. That's all this is.

If I could gamble righteously, I'd betcha that the new party forming, Unity '08, will nominate Bloomberg and Lieberman.

Their Rules Committee is calling for the party to nominate a Pubbie and a Dem on the same ticket; one for Prez and one for VEEP. Nominations will be done online and these people are dead serious.

Personally I hope they nominate a Rino and a wild-eyed lib. That will pull more 5 times more votes from the Dems than from the GOP.

Oh, BTW, anyone want to take that bet?

We should welcome Bloomberg's run for the presidency in 2008. With his socially liberal views and outright pro-abortion perspective, the only one he'll draw votes from is the Democrat if the nominate a loon like Dean.

Pleeeasssssse there is NO WAY bloomberg can win. He is worse than the previous mayor. And that is not say much. Neither will be President.

Don't forget that Bloomberg has a billion or two to buy television advertising. As Ross Perot demonstrated, that goes a long way.

Any Republican who is liberal enough to be elected mayor of New York is too liberal to get the GOP presidential nomination. That went for John Lindsay 35 years ago and it goes for Bloomberg and Rudy in 2008.
