Nearly four in 10 Americans admit having feelings of prejudice against Muslims living in the U.S. – and are in favor of having Muslims carry a special ID, a new Gallup poll reveals.
Also, 22 percent of those surveyed said they would not like to have a Muslim as a neighbor.
Among the findings of the late-July USA Today/Gallup poll:
31 percent of respondents said they would feel nervous if they noticed a Muslim man on their airplane flight, and 18 percent would feel nervous about a Muslim woman flying with them.
Less than half – 49 percent – feel that Muslims living in the U.S. are loyal to this country.
34 percent believe American Muslims are sympathetic to the al-Qaida terrorist organization.
40 percent of respondents said they believe Muslims in the U.S. are not respectful of other religions, and 44 percent said Muslims are too extreme in their religious beliefs.
A slight majority – 52 percent – believe Muslims are not respectful of women.
39 percent said the U.S. should require Muslims to carry a special ID, and 57 percent believe they should undergo more intensive security checks at airports.
39 percent said they "have at least some feelings of prejudice against Muslims,” 59 percent said they did not, and 2 percent had no opinion.
Opinions are different, however, among Americans who are personally acquainted with a Muslim, the poll disclosed.
For example, only 10 percent of those who know a Muslim said they would not want one as a neighbor, and 24 percent believe Muslims should carry a special ID – compared to 50 percent among those who don’t know a Muslim.
Why not expel Mexican's and Black people and then we can be rid of our gang problem too?
Why not get rid of Italians so we can get rid of our Mob problem?

You clearly have no love for this country and the freedoms it is bound to by our Constitution. I believe it's you that should leave our country as soon as possible and leave the real Americans to solve our problems.

That's nonsense. None of these other groups are committing terrorism on a mass scale. In fact, it is almost invisible. It is done almost entirely by Muslims. You'll feel differently if you are personally affected by the next terrorist attack in the U.S. and especially if you or your loved ones are affected.
I just state the obvious. You are taking it personally. I didn't fly those airbombs into packed office buildings. Muslims did. I didn't bomb those Madrid trains. Muslims did. I didn't bomb those London subways. Muslims did. I didn't try to below up 10 airplanes on August 16. Muslims wanted to. Does this clear the matter up for you. Look around. Let's get real here. The prolem is not my so-called biases. It is the facts and you evidently don't wish to address those facts. I'm offering up a realistic solution. Offer to pay the way back to the ME for Muslims who want to go. It will be money well spent and they can be among their own to do the things that Muslims like to do.

In fact gang violence kills far more people than terrorism.

What makes you think Muslims would take your offer up on paying for them.. and the people that you want to get rid of? That's laughable.. they are angry at us.. want to blow us up.. but you give them some money to go home and they say "Oh silly us.. American's are really nice people afterall.. I guess I'll just go home and get a job and raise a nice family."

I am a stubborn Dodgers fan - I bleed Dodger blue! If the Schmuslems played baseball, they would not be so crazy.
