I had hoped Franks retired so he could enter political realm. Maybe he will.

I had hoped Franks retired so he could enter political realm. Maybe he will. Why would Franks run? If he's pro-choice, or isn't "kick 'em all out" on immigration, you vultures would crucify him, no matter what his stance on terrorism was.
At least, that's what you're doing to Rudy.

If we use a term from Soviet doctrine, it is:
Inside the decision cycle.
Our forces were actually inside the ability of the enemy to react.
The Iraqi forces were 48 to 72 hours behind our ability to see what they were doing.

Actually, all I read and hear is that Chertoff was a very good conservative judge.
He is not considered by many (ie. Freepers) to be a good administrator.
His management ability is surely in question.

I would not crucify Rudy. I met the man when he was in stumping in San Diego for Bill Simon. I chose to go to that rally just to see him.
I can only assume you have mistaken me for someone else. Whatever the case, you are wrong.

I'm sorry if I misidentified you.
But this forum is filled to overflowing with people who don't see the WOT as the number one issue, and would rather focus on gay marriage, or abortion, or guns or something else.
They won't support Rudy because of his stance on those issues, and they'd dump Tommy Franks if he didn't toe the true conservative line, too.

I know the type but I am not one.
The point of my last post was you should know who you are addressing before you do.
