I hope you don't learn the hard way that although you think these people are your friends, when it comes to abortion, all bets are off. I shared my abortion story, which wasn't quite like yours, about four years ago. TO THIS DAY, people here will throw it in my face (BABY KILLER) when it suits them. Hildy, I don't know your story, however, I was in a position at one time in my life to consider an abortion. I did not choose that route, but at my age and in my situation had I not had a supportive guy in my life, I may well have chosen to do it because I was squishy on whether it was right or wrong at the time.
God can forgive anything if you ask and if you believe in his Son (for all I know you already have). We have all sinned, it's what humans do. God bless those who have transgressed but are willing to stand up and tell their stories to help others avoid the same mistakes. It takes courage and a certain amount of selflessness.

The problem for you Hildy is that you are still trying to justify having an abortion. Until you show some regret for your actions it is difficult to regard you in a more positive light.

Not only do you not seem to regret your decision, you hold it up as a perverse badge of honor as though it gives you some legitimacy in the debate when it does not- especially around here where most of us are in the pro-life camp. If you did not inject yourself into these threads justifying yourself and other who commit abortions you wouldn't be referred to in such crass terms.

Same here...and I always have to bite my tongue (tie my fingers?) when I see these same freepers claim, on other threads, just how passionately Christian they are. I didn't realize Christ was so picky about who and what He died for!
