Look, I'm as incensed as you are with fake moderates like those at CAIR and many others. But that doesn't justify a blatant and bigoted lie, particularly one that is DAMAGING to our cause in turning away, discouraging or demoralizing vital allies, which is exactly what your statement is.
Muslims are dying every day fighting Islamism, in fact in far larger numbers than Americans or any other Westerners. I recall at least a couple stories from Pakistan over the years where Muslim security guards suffered injury or death protecting Christian enclaves or schools attacked by militants. Much of the research in Steve Emerson's breakthrough American Jihad was done by a devout Muslim, Khalid Duran, who has also worked with Daniel Pipes.

I think you're right. And I hope so! But in the Muslim American community, I don't know how many truly support what goes on for or against us. And some of the Muslims in America seem to be supportive of the Islamo fascists tacitly, for their own well being. Not because they're fans, but because they're concerned about their futures. It's a closed community and who wants to be the one to shout out against the terror? -cue crickets - That's right, so far, not many. I don't believe they all agree with the terrorists, at least it doesn't seem so with fully 'Americanized' families, but who can know for sure? Cair needs to be careful, like you said, their base and the power over that base could erode quickly. Here's to hoping it's soon.
