Global Jihad PING !
Why is the dateline of this article from Prague?
Sadly, the peace-at-any-cost appeasement groups would rather die or suffer under dhimmitude than defend themselves. They won't ever be convinced...
There. That's better.
Remember, the jihadists planned to blow up 11 planes over the Atlantic, prior to 9/11.
Beware! This is Attu/Kiska for the coming "Midway" op by these terrorists. IMHO, it's the diversion for the real, and very serious, attack. (I think the next one will NOT involve airplanes, but will come across the southern border using a dirty bomb---and I don't think it will be high-casualty, but will shut down a major city, Katrina-like, for years.)
Passengers are being told they cannot carry hand luggage onto flights except for essential items placed in transparent bags. Milk for babies must be tasted by the accompanying passenger before it is allowed on board.
"All hand baggage will now have to be checked in with only a small number of essential items allowed through search controls," Alexander said. "Exceptions will be in place for those traveling with infants and for prescription medicines. Extra security arrangements will be in place for flights to the United States of America."
A guy called in to Glenn Beck's show today. He was in Germany and had a flight scheduled for London. The airline had cancelled his flight, and according to the caller, many flights all over Europe had been cancelled.
Will Blair's wife, a lawyer, rally to the defense of the terrorists?
We have to stop using these terms. Everytime a muslim hears the term jihadist or jihad, it elicits pride not disgust. The word in entirely positive in the realm of Islam. They are not jihadist. They are murdering terrorists.
I was thinking of how in 2004 Annie Leibowitz was called a nut/bigot by some when she wrote the series of articles "terror in the skies" for women's wall street.
I will have to re-read about the Syrian musicians who took turns going to the bathroom and scaring the heck out of passngers. Despite all the "nothing to see here" responses, I thought it was a dry run.
OOPs, oops, oops. I meant 2004 article by Annie Jacobsen. I have no idea who Annie Leibowitz is or why I typed that name.
**"We cannot stress too highly the severity that this plot represented," Stephenson said. "Put simply, this was intended to be mass murder on an unimaginable scale."**
I see this is coming from Prague. Chilling since I was in Prague, Poland, Hungary and Austria a month and a half ago.
We flew in and out of Frankfurt. (Shakes head.)
Rush and his staff wondering what big event would happen while he was out. This is it.
My son's flying home from London with his high school drama group on Monday. When we saw them off at SFO, I couldn't help but marvel at all those wide-eyed, fresh-faced, innocent kids (34 of them) about to embark on the adventure of their lifetime.
As a mom, you can't help but have a little knot of worry every time your kid leaves the house about the myriad of things that can turn your and their lives upside down in the blink of an eye. You do your best not to let it consume you since you know that, logically, 99.999% of the time, everything is going to be OK.
Most parents, grandparents, neighbors, teachers, community members strive to keep all our kids safe. It's incomprehensible that people are actively plotting to end the lives of innocents and will do so joyfully. Why? How does this improve the lives of their families/communities? How does this make things better?
What is the attraction of terrorists to airplanes? Are they hypnotized by shiny objects?
Is there any connection between the UK arrests of airline terrorists and the 11 missing Egyptians who were supposed to go to school in Montana? Only three of the 11 have been captured, and I would like to know if the missing eight are connected to the airline threats in the UK? Anybody know?
Now will all civilized countries kick out proponents of the ideology of death, and keep new ones from coming in?
