".....Anti-war fever is fueling resurgence of liberal wing"
"Resurgence of the liberal wing"? The rat has no other wing and has not had a ring wing since Sam Nunn and a few Dixiecrats left office.
This is silly ratspeak.

When I lived in CT (most of my life)I voted for one Dem. Joe, just to get rid of Lowell the Wackie Lib. Unfortunately Lowell gave us the state income tax. One reason I moved to NH.

If the newest terrorist plot had been exposed a few days earlier, would Lieberman have pulled it off?
I imagine CT voters of all stripes will vote for Joe.
Welcome to FR.

.... The rat has no other wing .... It's a line-up of pro-UN, anti-US groups all cobbled together.

Welcome to FR, I know here in Groton a lot of people I've talked to are going to vote for Joe, myself included. What has surprised me is that Independents are the largest segment of registered voters here in CT!

Why ?
Make no mistakes Lieberman is still a liberal and has voted against everything that you believe in, except the war. You are letting your sympathy for him cloud your judgment. I have posted several times and will do so again. Lieberman is in no way required to renounce his democRATic party membership to run as an independent. He is just not the party's designated candidate.

I'm not from CT, but I echo the sentiments of others.
Vote for Joe.
Support his election however you are able.

It's not that I'm sympathetic of Lieberman. I just want the far-out-kook-liberal (Lamont in this case) to lose.

I would not say its timing. Its bad policy. Its bad ideology. Its warped and self loathing. It puts America at risk.
With such a twisted stance, time and events will alwasy look bad.
PS - This is going to look even worse when Karl Rove frog marches out OBL right before election day.

I'm from a deep red state, and I say -- stick it to the psychos and vote for Joe.

Funny, communists funded the anti war movement for Nam, and they are doing the same thing now. Jackson et al are card carrying socialists. These aren't democrats in the sense that we knew them once.
