I find that a brick wall works much better than a human shield. The human shield is poor at stopping shell fragments and much more messy.

I find a metal shield to be much more flexible and mobile.

I think in Iraq the shields wanted to be around schools and hospitals, but the Iraqis wanted them at military targets. Didn't most of the shields leave before the fighting started?

defensive weapons, then they are not innocent
or civilians, but active combatants, and are
just as deserving of death as any armed enemy
on the battlefield.

Israel should let them in to Lebanon, and when
they are inevitably killed, there is no one
